  1. I still remember back in Covid. The first question in the 1pm theatre was always “What about Maori?”
And so here we go again after this so called ‘most racist budget’. Well what about Maori? Maori Maori Maori Maori. Is itvall about maori these days? What about all New Zealanders? What about them? Most Maori of course are just good old New Zealanders like everyone else. Just some don’t consider themselves so. Such as the maori party who living quite nicely off the taxpayer. Funny that, they’re the most racist!

  2. I’ve seen rich pastoral land planted out in pine trees, I’ve seen run down farms and empty paddocks, I’ve seen deserted towns where there were once bustling rural communities, I’ve seen Ferrari’s parked outside cafes in Auckland, I’ve seen gulf stream jets parked up in Dunedin because there was no parking space left for them in Queenstown, I’ve seen dire poverty in the four largest cities, I’ve seen our AO/NZ torn apart by roger douglas and his particular interpretation of neoliberalism. Every day, I see that everywhere but I don’t see resistance. I, instead, see a loss of hope and an increase in fear and that’s because we have no leadership to lean against, to rely upon. We need help and I think we could try asking The Crown. We need third-party intervention. We need farmers with the only industry we have worth consideration to align themselves with Maori et al who have a legally binding contract with the Crown and we need urban people to stand up for themselves and say ” Fuck this! I’ve had enough of being exploited by plump narcissists ” then act accordingly.
If we continue along this vector laid down as if it were a trap, which it is in my opinion, then we will lose our beautiful AO/NZ. There’s a saying which goes something like this ” Evil prevails when good people fail to act.” All I saw as the budget was rolled out were evil liars lying.

  3. 1.6 billion to widen 16km of road south of Cambridge… oh really?!!..
that is “a nice to have” if ever there was one…..you could build a lot of state houses with that money…. or proper hospitals …or school classrooms

I have just driven that road and it’s just fine….sure ..if we had a 20 billion dollar surplus and you were looking for things to do with it…maybe then..

There’s a lot of trucks shifting freight up and done the country…freight that could..and should..be on trains.

They do that everywhere else in the world except here in N.Z. wd have pathologically anti-train National and ACT.

This is a very unintelligent, uninspiring, head in the sand budget…but totally expected looking at the calibre of the people who put it together.

  4. This 2026 Racist Budget will be remembered as the most spiteful HIT on the needy ever! How anyone with a beating heart and soul could bring in such a divisive and cruel budget, at this difficult time, is impossible to comprehend. Sleep well Willis, Luxon et al you have no idea what you have unleashed. Hipkins, if the Left can’t do better there is something terribly ‘sick’ out there. Way past time for the greedies to start paying their way!!!!

    1. Great realistic budget for hard times. Hipkins has offered nothing .He admitted in 2017 they were not prepared to govern and Labour has done little to prepare this time .3 years sitting on their hands

      1. Nobody in their right mind thinks that the ‘finance team’ of Luxon, Willis, Seymour and Bishop have a clue about running the finances of a country…

There has been zero ‘quid pro quo’ factored into any of the decisions made…when you do that work it’s easy to see that this is an absolute disaster for N.Z. that will, once again, take decades yo rectify.

This bunch of enthusiastic narcissistic amateurs just don’t have that deep thinking intelligence that is required to do that…they are operating in an area way above their ability…flying blind.

Let us not forget….as was verified by Treasury…Labour was on track to have the country back into surplus by mid – 2027 after dealing with the deadly worldwide 1 in 100 year Covid virus and saving 1000s of businesses from going under and 20,000 lives.

Luxon and Nikki- no – boats Willis fucked the economy over 2 years ago and are now trying to make out that this current rise in fuel prices ,(which is peanuts compared to Covid), is the reason for their woeful economic performance and disgusting ideologies.

Willis, who is interviewing her own typewriter, is now trying to make out that she is going to reach surplus 1 year sooner than her last surplus date…which is still 2 years after Labour…
even then her figures have been describe bt to economists as being ‘heroic’….or in other words…
        wishful thinking

Not only that…she has lost over 200,000 of our best and brightest to Australia & U.K… increased unemployment from 3.4%under Labour to 5.5 (real figure 6.5) if it wasn’t for Australia…and inflation is rising again after the worldwide settling down post Covid.

According to them… Covid was not an excuse for any economic downturn under Labour and N.Z.First…therefore… The Coalition of The Hopeless can now not use the Iran War fuel spike as an excuse for their woeful peformance on every metric.

      2. Realistic budget for hard times? I guess the tobacco companies, the fossil fuel companies and the foreign investors were having a really hard time then, given that this government is giving them such a helping hand (at the expense of all the poor and vulnerable members of our society).
Whatever would the tobacco companies do without tax cuts that take money away from our breaking healthcare system? I pity them. It’s so heartbreaking, watching them die of lung cancer because they can’t get proper treatment. So sad.

      1. Hmm. I don’t think milk is.
What isn’t ‘woke’ these days to you? And please justify the cuts to disabled people’s welfare whilst the rich get tax breaks?

    2. I think she and Upston are way worse than Richardson and Paula benefit .
