Officials told government not to intervene in a climate court case

Justice officials advised the government not to intervene in a court case being taken against major emitters, offical documents show.

Despite that, the government announced it would amend climate laws to prevent companies from being sued over damage caused by greenhouse gas emissions, stopping a landmark case in its tracks.

…let me get this straight.

The 7 Big Polluters, (5 of whom donate to the Political Right), whose hand-delivered demands magically disappeared from any Official Information Act requests and were forced to the surface as part of legal disclosure out of the High Court, those 7 Big Polluters, the Government’s OWN ADVISORS recommended against interfering on behalf of the 7 Big Polluters and the Government implemented exactly what they wanted (despite apparently never having read the hand-delivered corporate briefing papers?)

That’s what we are being asked to believe is it?

Here is what I just don’t get about the NZ Right.

If you hate the Woke Left, why y’all such simps for Corporations?

New Zealand’s Right spends enormous energy raging about trans people, beneficiaries and “wokeness” — while quietly cheering on the corporations, landlords and donors making their lives materially worse.

Here’s what I don’t understand about the feral NZ Right.

We get that you Right Wing Hate Trolls hate da Trans, hate da Treaty and hate da beneficiaries.

We get you want to hang Jacinda for putting nano-bots in your vaccines and that due to your intense loneliness you blame anyone weaker than you for their own misery.

It’s a toxic culture war feedback loop.

Here’s what I don’t get though.

National, ACT and NZ First are nothing more than vehicles for their donors’ interests.

The elites manipulate your petty bigotries so you keep voting against your own economic interests.
