Democrats Autopsy Avoids The Real Class Wound

The Democrats autopsy was supposed to explain how a party with almost a billion dollars still managed to lose to Donald Trump. Instead, it looks like another fake post-mortem that refuses to cut into the real wound.
Takeaways from the DNC autopsy
Ever since the 2024 election, Democrats have been searching for answers as to what went so wrong to possibly have re-installed Donald Trump as president.
And for much of that time, there’s been anticipation about an “autopsy” from the Democratic National Committee that drilled down on that precise question.
Except that autopsy never actually arrived. And eventually DNC Chairman Ken Martin said he wouldn’t release it.
But now Martin is reversing course and releasing an incomplete version of the document, after an outcry from some in the party.

The Democrats autopsy of why they lost is a well established joke now.
The Harris campaign committee raised $997.2 million and Trump’s campaign committee raised $388 million.
That Trump beat the stuffing out of Democrats despite them having almost three times the cash demands genuine reflection, not this fake alien autopsy.
Democrats autopsy refuses to name class
Democrats will refuse point-blank to examine their own alienating purity-temple identity politics, because that would start a civil war inside the Democratic Party.
Because America is a venal cut-throat rat race with no safety nets, US capitalism attempts to offset the cost of living to keep the peasants from rioting with cheap petrol and cheap manufactured food. Listening to Americans whine about the cost of petrol in their country when petrol prices are twice that in NZ is hilarious, but because so many Americans live in poverty, petrol prices and cheap heavily manufactured food is the difference between getting through the month and not.
Many voted for Trump despite Trump being a union-busting prick, unions are the only way working people have any leverage to upgrade their standard of living and a Trump administration will ensure that unions gain not one inch during his presidency.
Trump will give the working poor the crumbs of tax-free tips, but he will never give them the dignity to sit at the table while eating those crumbs.
There are now 650,000 homeless Americans (110,000 of them are children) and 40% of Americans are one financial crisis away from joining the homeless.
The grinding poverty of America’s ruthless free market capitalism has become a nightmare for many and because Democrats have done nothing in addressing their pain in favour of middle class woke identity politics pandering, these Americans have been left to fend for themselves and saw a champion in Trump which is desperately hollow because he will betray every single one of them!
Class unites where identity fractures
The working classes of America turned to the political left for answers to their economic pain and found a Democratic Party cancelling itself over pronouns while the rent went up, the petrol bill exploded and the pantry emptied. Class is a unifier. Identity is not. The Democrats are not allowed to contemplate that reality, which is why their autopsy looks more like a cover-up.

The high cost of housing in America is a very big cause of poverty, just as it is here in New Zealand.
Ironically, America’s progressives are assiduous at closing off cheap housing through planning restrictions and other means. The party of the poor doesn’t want the poor living anywhere near them, thank you very much!
I don’t expect the Democrat party will recognise their own contribution to the widespread poverty they say they want to solve.
” Ironically, America’s progressives are assiduous at closing off cheap housing through planning restrictions and other means. The party of the poor doesn’t want the poor living anywhere near them, thank you very much! ”
The Democrats ARE not the party of the poor and haven’t been since Clinton in 1996.
If you actually took the time to Ironically, America’s progressives are assiduous at closing off cheap housing through planning restrictions and other means. The party of the poor doesn’t want the poor living anywhere near them, thank you very much!
The Democrats in the U.S are the safe face of neo liberal market policies who will take huge donations to keep the status quo safe when the Republican ( GOP ) fall out of favor like in every other western plutocracy including here. +
They exist to keep the poor you refer to out of sight unless the poor are cleaning their houses , driving their drunk kids home or delivering their uber meals to name a few slavery occupations.
Those are the expendable human beings that people like you and the voters of the mainstream vote for when they want to project a social conscience so when they vote as long as its not next door , or in their street they feel just a little bit better they have voted to help the misery they find so uncomfortable to watch or read about is being taken care of by parties like the Democrats in the US and corporate friendly marketers like Labour here.
If you actually want to find out what progressive parties stand for then watch and read Bernie Sanders in the US who has exposed the hypocrisy , corruption and perverting the truth of what the Democrats for example say they actually stand for.
While it’s impossible to ignore the Democrats failure maybe most of society has missed the reason for trouble in life? The dark ages was predicted thousands of years ago and real life events would suggest that most have lost the knowledge of how bad any church state system is and in any choice between Trump and the Pope for leadership of the world there will be universal approval for the church to bring stability and peace to society. I can appreciate that any hint of a divine power is anathema to you so I don’t expect mass acceptance of the idea although I hope that you will keep an open mind and examine any new evidence as it becomes available. I don’t believe in time setting although we believe that the USA has a prominent role in the end time events and with the increased prominence of China it seems unlikely that the USA will still be the major world power in a decades time.
