Conservatives always default to culture war issues. Because people actually don’t like their policies. Most people anyway.
I’m trans/homo/feminism-phobic. Extremely. They scare me. They scare me because they desecrate the family unit. I know they’ve always been a thing. And I know they want to marry each other it’s when they started forcing there beliefs on the public that men are woman. That men are the devil incarnate. 10 years ago they crossed the line. Now it’s time to see who is willing to die in a ditch for who’s beliefs.
I’m not angry, I’m disgusted. The major problems with NZ and its debt is the gross unfairness of our taxation system where salaries go up by percentage which leaves so many going backwards. Read the stats – when you have money you make money; when you don’t you fade away. If the avaricious gentry can’t see it then they are thick as well as greedy. There is enough in NZ to go around but how much is enough for some who are graspingly voracious and won’t change as they are on the pigs back! Shame on your self-entitled, self-absorbed lives, but climate changes doesn’t give a damn whether you are rich, poor, or what you earn or own. It will come for you when it’s ready and you can’t take what you have with you. The day of judgment is coming so do be ready – it’s way overdue!

I moved to the Gold Coast last year at 62 years of age. Secured employment, working hard and I am happier and better off by every conceivable measure. I moved because even though I worked hard I went backwards because to your point NZ is fucked. Policies direct how a country is run and right wing policies have created the mess NZ is in.
