Seymour overrules OIO advice to NOT sell three South Otago farms to foreign investors while attacking immigrants

Comrades, I’m a tad confused.

Rich foreigners get the welcome mat, poor migrants get the boot

While Winston is raging against the migrants, he opened New Zealand up for rich foreigners to buy $5 million mansions and I haven’t heard ACT say jack about overstayers while they are in power and yet suddenly six months before an election we need to copy Trump with a special immigration unit to force overstayers out of the country???

Here’s what I don’t understand – last week while ACT was proposing we create an ICE force for overstayers, David Seymour overruled  OIO advice to NOT sell three South Otago farms to foreign investors while reforming the OIA to make it easy for foreigners to buy up sensitive New Zealand assets and land.

So help me out here folks,

When it’s rich pricks from overseas buying up our million-dollar mansions or South Otago farms, NZ First and ACT can’t bend over backwards fast enough to allow that, but when it’s the poor, desperate or exploited migrant workers, suddenly it’s deportation camps and dawn raids.

This isn’t immigration policy — it’s class warfare with a racist soundtrack

The rest of you are seeing this, right?

NZ First and ACT are not offering solutions, they are playing to the bigotry of their base. These aren’t dog whistles, they are canine trumpets, and we should reject racism because blaming immigrants for the economic malaise this Government has driven the country into is not just a false narrative, it’s also beneath our mana as a people!
