Could we ask Prof.Jane Kelsey to comment on this matter of tariffs. I thought that signing away our rights to 95% of our sovereignty was meant to pre-empt such actions.

Hawke’s Bay is the largest producer, contributing 64 percent of New Zealand’s total apple volumes.
“Fruit we shipped to the US this year returned probably a dollar less than the costs, so regrettably we have no plans to ship to the US in this current season. Until the tariffs are gone it will be difficult to make a dollar.”
Tokoroa – Jobs lost, factory shuts. Let us not forget these losses. Perhaps we need another Anzac Day in the 21st century remembering these other losses that war dead and injured could never imagine would have been brought us in a battle back home.
