An Act Party ad celebrating household savings under its Government used an AI-generated image titled ‘Happy Maori couple sits comfortably in a cozy living light room, generated ai’.
There is nothing to stop a party from using an artificial image without disclosing it, per the Electoral Commission, and this is not the first time AI imagery has been used as part of a political campaign in New Zealand.
But as AI images come to populate more and more stock imagery databases, Act says it has refined its filtering methods to avoid losing the human touch, adding it would never use the technology to impersonate a real figure.
When I first saw this latest click bait from ACT, my first thought was, “those cuts are being generated by slowing inflation after the supply chain shut downs over Covid and the extra support everyone needed during Covid, pretending your amputation of the State is the real reason for interest rate cuts is so disingenuous it borders on criminal’.
My second thought was, ‘There is bio way those Māori actors thought they would turn upon an ACT advert’.
The truth is the Māori couple are fake AI cartoons which is extra hilarious when you consider how many Māori hate ACT for their appalling race hate stunts.
It would be like generating Rednecks loving the Greens.

Give it time and more closer to the election however sooner it well turn out to be will ACT create Fictitious ACT voters who again are AI Maoris and even Fictitious School Lunches that look like what they should have been in the misleading advertising by ACT been portrayed as but in reality shown as something that looks like David Seymour chewed a lunch, vomited it back up and then had it packaged as an ‘edible’ school lunch??????!!
In fact will the school lunches through A.I advertising look more appetizing in the lead up to the election so as to fool the gullible voters more so than ever before????!!
