Gaza Strip

Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — but silence prevails

over growing numbers of dead and injured

Victims 28 February – 01 March 2025:

2 more killed, 23 wounded

Israeli Occupation forces’ continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip opened fire on and killed two returning Palestinians and wounded 23 others. Civil Defence crews retrieved another 21 dead from under bomb-damaged buildings bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,388. The total wounded is now at least111,803. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 94 and, that of those injured, is more than 218.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack: Ramallah – 16:15, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on people, near the village of Ein Qiniya.

Israeli Army – refugee camp: Jenin – for the seventh day, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm of the city as well as the refugee camp. Several motor vehicles were destroyed in the attack.

Israeli Army – homes invaded in refugee camp – 2 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued to storm the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nour Shams refugee camps, opened fire while invading homes and forcing residents, at gunpoint, to evacuate their homes in the Nour Shams refugee camp. Two residents were taken prisoner.

Israeli Army – 1 wounded: Hebron – 16:55, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition and stun grenades, raided Dura, wounding a resident: Sameh Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Rajoub.

Israeli settler attack, with support from Israeli Army: Hebron – evening, armed Israelis, from the Havat Ma’on Occupation settlement outpost, firing live ammunition and supported by Israeli troops firing stun grenades, attacked homes in the Wadi al-Jawaya area of Yatta, opening fire on homes and threatening to steal livestock.

Israeli Army – 1 wounded: Hebron – 00:10, the Israeli military, firing live ammunition and stun grenades, raided Idhna town, wounding a resident: Muhammad Imad Akhlawi.

Home invasions: Jenin – for the eighth day, Israeli Occupation forces continued raiding the town of Qabatiya and searching homes.

Home invasion: Nablus – 23:10, Israeli forces raided the village of al-Badhan and searched a house.

Home invasions: Nablus – 00:35–02:40, the Israeli Army raided Tal village and invaded a number of homes.

Home invasions: Salfit – 21:15, Israeli troops invaded a number of homes, while raiding the towns of Bruqin and Kafr al-Dik.

Israeli Army vandalism and destruction: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces used military vehicles to crash into, and destroy, people’s motor vehicles in the city.

Israeli Army population–control: Nablus – 13:45, Israeli forces took prisoner a man, Rashad Al-Aghbar, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.

Israeli Army – beatings-up and hospitalisations: Nablus – 14:00, Israeli troops, stationed at al-Sayrafi checkpoint, beat–up and hospitalised six residents: Moamen Hamdi Saeed Dar Nasr, Suhaib Ahmed Abdel Salam Lahham, Abdullah Fathi Musa Hajir, Zain Al-Din Mahmoud Nabhan Saqr, Mu’ayyad Abbas Juma Mustafa and Ahmed Omar Mazhar.

Occupation settler plunder and pastoral sabotage: Jericho – morning, Israeli settlers invaded the Bedouin community in al-Auja, stole 15 sheep and killed another five.

Occupation settler pastoral sabotage: Hebron – morning, Occupation settlers grazed a flock of sheep on crops growing in the Huwara area of Yatta.
