Labour needs to apologise and thank Auckland

If Labour ant to win back Auckland they are going to need to celebrate , thank and say sorry to Auckland.

That last Covid lockdown was so painful for many Aucklanders.

It gets lost in the anger that Auckland should be celebrated and thanked for our stamina during that last lockdown BECAUSE REMEMBER WHY WE WENT INTO THAT SECOND LOCKDOWN!

Auckland went into that second lockdown so that the rest of the country could get their immunisation rates up.

Auckland took the strain while the rest of the country rushed to get immunised.

Auckland should be thanked and celebrated for its collective sacrifice for the good of the nation and Labour should apologise, celebrate and thank Auckland with policy that recognises that sacrifice.

But Labour disappointed Aucklanders and the whole of NZ with their stupid incremental policies when they were given a blank check to spend to complete upheaval of societal injustice. Please note that idiot Chippy saying the reasons why he wants a four year parliamentary term is because governments can move slower on policy. What the fuck is that idiot saying. For Labour, no lessons learnt from the election loss and his part in it. It certainly was not just a grudge fuck because of Covid. Nothing has changed.

    1. Well said Comet.Labour and their voice people push the lie that they lost the election due to covid hate but the truth is they were useless in actually getting stuff done and along the way over spent and destroyed the economy.
