Beyond the health question for Royals, look at their clothing – fantastic furs, finest brocades, probably costing as much as someone could earn in a lifetime in the poorer classes. Aren’t we getting into similar dissonance these days. Fair treatment embracing all is not the driving morality. Ths scales of justice are not level but so overloaded on one side that people are falling off. Being a seamstress in the old days meant that you were at your work from fist light to candle light and might work in basements with not very good food. How come we haven’t changed from that completely. Machines make for higher productivity but still poor conditions.
