  1. “We are making a commitment to the New Zealand people and we intend to keep it.”

Are the people’s whose jobs your going to axe, New Zealand people or just more lives you’re committed to wreck?

  2. Nicola Willis won’t be the next Minister of Finance because National will not end up winning the election!

Everybody i speak to from both the left and the right smell a big fat rat and don’t like the bullshit that is being pronounced by National as sound policy when clearly it is not.

Taking the piss out of, and pulling the wool over, the electorate’s eyes is a huge mistake !!

People of any strip do not like being treated like imbeciles.
The audience at the debate in Queenstown last night, which was full of National and Act supporters, fell deathly silent when Willis talked about her loopy ideas.
You would have thought they would have been throwing hats and babies in the air ….but no!!…nothing…

Robertson and Shaw were the one’s that were engaging the crowd with their deep understanding and explanations of economics…everyone was leaning forward when they spoke…. not Willis or Seymour …who in the end just tried to be the clown …that he is.

Damien O’Connor was equally impressive at the rural debate, silencing the crowd with his depth of knowledge….. the others were left floundering around trotting out their same old cliches…

What a great performance by Damien!!

    1. So you want to see Labour carry on running the country into the ground while senior doctors and dentists strike along with prison officers and other workers effect by inflation stealing their money.

      1. They strike because Labour will listen. They don’t strike with a National government because they don’t. People no longer accept Nationals low wage economy bullshit!!!

    2. Thank you for the biggest laugh I have had reading any blog this month!

Robertson and Shaw were the one’s that were engaging the crowd with their deep understanding and explanations of economics

I think you forgot the /sarc tag

  3. Glad you are starting the recognise the invertible.
“NICOLA WON’T BE FINANCE MINISTER! David Seymour will be”

  4. Glad you are starting to recognise the invertible.

    1. Rat – you are a poorly-educated, ignorant idiot. I suggest you look up the meaning of invertible (it is a synonym of convertible, in case you don’t know how to look it up..)

And then start composing your huge apology for trying to use a big word.

Or just stop trolling on this site. You are an embarrassment to the ACT party.

      1. Yes, it’s the trouble when I speed type on a touch screen, multitask & use multiple devices.

        1. We know it’s not your native tongue Krautus Haus/Saur Kraut/aka Rat in a cage.

  5. My understanding she will resign if the tax cuts don’t go through, but wont if the figures on foreign buyers are wrong.
    That’s a huge out.

    1. Agree she should be resigning if their foreign buyers policy fails cause her and luxon have insisted its rock solid. National will deliver their tax cuts at all costs no matter what. They don’t care just like Key did and we are still catching up. For some idiots in our country it doesn’t matter what evidence you put forward.

    2. That will not happen, because National will not win the Election.

Nobody can be that stupid, that gullible, and that naive, and care so little about their country, that they would vote in such incompetent and shallow thinkers such as Willis and Luxon et al…

But to indulge in a bit of fantasy fiction for a second… and play the game of them getting in…

They obviously are not going to get anywhere near their projections…and she’s already said the promised tax cuts are locked in…..then where’s the money coming from?

Massive cuts to core services …that’s where…and that will have to be permanent year after year after year after year….

That is setting the country up to become 3rd world….but with an out of control property market whereby more and more wealthy Chinese can buy up New Zealand at will as more and more homes go past the $2 million threshold ….it’s locked in.

And all this, just so the so called ‘squeezed middleclass’ can go out for a movie and have Ben & Jerry’s ice cream as opposed to staying home, watching Netflix and having to settle for Tip Top.

That is what those vacuous puerile numpties Luxon and Willis told us all at the press conference when announcing their earth shattering policy.

National are stuffed, snookered, …hoisted by their own petard!!

  6. Glad you are starting to recognise the inevitable.
“NICOLA WON’T BE FINANCE MINISTER! David Seymour will be”

    1. Rat – could you possibly engage your miniscule brain and desist from sending us the same dumb message THREE times??

      1. In Vino, Rat won’t understand those brain reference terms. You need to contextualise it with his own lexicon. Like if most of us have 12 gauge brains ,Rats is more .22 calibre.

    2. Yay ratty, they’re both narcissists and have zero finance/accounting skills in my opinion, but yay.

  7. I doubt Seymour wants to be finance minister because it would tie him up too much in the day to day detail.

National’s focus is typically in balancing the books and opening up the economy to growth, whereas ACT’s is in sorting out the racialization of government. I see him and the ‘Minister of Closing Down Useless Ministries’ and ‘Minister of Constitutional Development’. Something that will take us forward rather than looking back to 1840 as we are now. Exactly how he intends to unpick the mess we find ourselves in is above my pay grade.

  8. Will Rat in a cage aka Krautus Haus and other multiple names resign himself from playing with himself on the keyboard so many times? Unless of course he’s convinced…“NICOLA WON’T BE FINANCE MINISTER! David Seymour will be”

  9. She might deliver tax cuts but that’s not to say that their numbers to fund them aren’t a load of horse shit. That will be funded with cuts that go well beyond breakfast events. Alternatively they put property prices through the roof in some areas , and why is that ok? It was the work of Satan when prices shot up with the COVID response. Squeezed middle my arse.

  10. Walk, resigne, our numbers, are like a socialist joke, three together, not agreed the time of day, maggie your arrogancce uncaring what shame.

  11. Engel what call this thing. Socialist, his Engel, thought, Marx, and him argued years this thing what call the thing.

  12. Too often in the past National MPs have ”promised” almost like a IBS to resign but never do. Mainly possibly because the pay packet and perks of the job is something they just “cannot go without’. They love the pay packet just as much as they love the perks of the job. They love being pursued by the media even when in a limo and chased by three journalists. It’s something of a Power Trip for them. If you asked one National MP to resign and go onto the same pay level as a beneficiary you may as well expect them to do a previous National MP action and claim she could survive on the equivalent of the DPB as it was at the time. Afterwards it turned out her ‘doctors’ told her she couldn’t survive on the equivalent of the DPB and she just had to return back to her wonderful pay packet and perks of the job.
