  1. I had tears in my eyes when I read this. This little boy has to suffer because Customs, the Ministry of Health and obviously the Minister of Health – Andrew Little – have little to no understanding of what Eddy and others like him need to keep them alive. Shame on Customs, MOH and Andrew Little but they won’t care what I or others who feel the same way say. Their arrogance and claim of complying with the law way surpasses any sense of compassion that should be applied in Eddy’s case.

Compare the government’s and its departments’ approach on this with the rush to grant residency/citizenship to dodgy people or people with money.

    1. Yes, and the awful thing too is that, even if they can be persuaded to allow medicinal cannabis products, It will all go into the hands of Big Pharma and still cost an arm and a leg.

  2. Too silly, a Pharmac regime that deprives people of access to better tratment on grounds of cost to government and here a medicinal “marijuana” regime for cannabis oil CBD cost as high as possible and as difficult to obtain as possible for those getting treatment.

If the rest of his work as Health Minister is of this poor quality, he will the make the government unelectable.
