Woman dead, man critical after both were shot by police in Christchurch overnight
Friends and locals have been left shaken after a woman was shot dead by police in Christchurch last night, while another man was critically injured.
The Police arrive at a domestic violence incident, they threaten the male with a gun, immediately enflaming the situation (why a gun, where was the taser?) the male advances, the cops shot, the woman enraged by the male being shot like a dog in the street then picks up the knife and hilariously the cops then point their guns at her and shoot her and kill her.
The cops were sent there to save people’s lives and they ended up shooting both of them and killing one.
I know what you are thinking, ‘But what about the poor police’, don’t you fret fellow citizen, there’s no way anyone is going be held to account.
Look, our Police are really, really, really good at harassing young Māori, chasing young people to death in police chases and getting away with shooting New Zealanders.
NZ Police fatally shoot Kiwis at 11 times the rate of Officers in England and Wales and few are ever held accountable for those killings,
Look at the shootings from a 2022 article into the insane rates of shootings by NZ Police, look at how many shots the cops fired and look at how all of them were considered justified…

…hilariously 10 of them were shoot in the back by the cops.
Most Kiwis have no idea of those stats, that’s how powerful the culture of authority worship is in NZ.
In the past of course it was only the Armed Defenders Squad who were trained with guns, but nowadays the lower physical requirements mean small people with big guns and barely any training. They are working now on ‘Respect my authority’ American policing meaning anyone with any possible threat who disobeys is open season.
The insanity of shooting both of these people in a domestic violence call out and killing one is beyond any comprehension. The millisecond the cop drew the gun all the other possibilities for de-escalation were immediately removed.
There will be the usual whitewash inquiry and if anyone is found to blame accountability will be meaningless and decades away…
Police shooting: Coroner rules Shargin Stephens’ death was ‘preventable’
Police tactics in the fatal shooting of Shargin Stephens showed a disregard for the right to life, according to a scathing coroner’s report.
A probationary officer in “a heightened emotional state” pushed his way past experienced officers and got “unnecessarily and dangerously close” to Stephens, who was holding a slasher after smashing up a police car, and shot him twice with an M4 rifle.
Coroner Michael Robb ruled the death, in July 2016, was preventable and his 207-page report painted a picture of police chaos on the day, including a lack of leadership and a failure to de-escalate the situation.
…Shargin was shot almost a decade ago, the barest of accountabilities made.
It’s not just shootings and chasing people into car crashes, our cops get an enormous amount of free space to abuse power as well.
Every time the NZ Police get caught using interrogation techniques that imprison an innocent person, they scream and cry and wail that they have learnt their lesson and won’t frame innocent people for crimes they didn’t commit.
Well, another brilliant expose Stuff has highlighted how often the NZ Police used a corrupted interviewing technique to continue framing people for crimes…
The high-profile homicides and the troubled interview method
-
- A controversial interviewing technique has been abandoned by police, but not before it was used in five homicide investigations, and influenced various others.
- The Complex Investigation Phased Engagement Model (CIPEM) extracted a false confession from a suspect in the 2016 killing of Upper Hutt woman Lois Tolley and has been denounced by people working in the justice sector.
- Documents released after the Ombudsman criticised police’s handling of Stuff requests for information reveal other cases in which the technique was deployed or considered.
Anyone reading the Alan Hall case would be shocked at the blatant attempt to frame him for the crime.
You honestly get the perception after reading the reports that the cops simply rounded up the most vulnerable person near the crime and bullied him into answers that were used to frame him while withholding evidence that proved he didn’t do it.
They knew Alan couldn’t have committed the crime, but the simply framed him anyway because their interrogation techniques are manipulative and have little to do with catching the actual criminal and more to do with simply finding a prosecution.
With the recent litany of miscarriage of justice cases, seeing the inside of a corrupted police interrogation process happening in real time now suggests the Police have learned NOTHING from the mistakes and failures of the past, which is what we have been promised every time one of these miscarriages of justice get exposed!
This use of a deeply flawed interrogation model that fell over in court which the Police lied about is just extraordinary!
Detective Superintendent Tom Fitzgerald also was responsible for that other great questionable miscarriage of justice case, the murder of Olivia Hope and Ben Smart.
Based on what we currently have in front of us with this case and the recent miscarriages of justice cases of Peter Ellis, David Dougherty, Scott Watson, Teina Pora, David Lyttle, Mauha Fawcettand Alan Hall you get a terrible feeling that Police are not following the evidence in case, but are merely rounding up the most vulnerable suspects and bullying confessions out of them or twisting the evidence to fit the crime.
What is happening here is a can of very sick and toxic worms are being ripped open while the media’s attention is on the petty and vacant.
What is being exposed here is a rotten process that reeks of corruption. I once thought that maybe as much as 5% of the prison population might be innocent, after looking at what has been starkly revealed in this police interrogation process, I think that number might be closer to 20% of the prison population being innocent.
The scale of NZ Police corruption in using a flawed interview process that tricks people into framing themselves is gasp inducing and demands far more fear from Kiwis, especially when you see the extreme the Police went too hide and lie about the technique.
Sleepy Hobbits of muddle NuZilind are constantly distracted by ‘da Maaaaaaaaaoris is getting too much’ bullshit rather than demanding accountability from the Police Force who are actively framing people for crimes and shooting them in questionable circumstances.
The NZ Police were formed out of the Mounted Constabulary who were a Pakeha militia that bashed the natives with impunity.
Little has changed.
Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

No doubt we will get the the same illinformed wannabe gun nerds who really really want to be allowed to carry handguns in case some maaaaari tries it on bleating their garbage about ‘if there’s a guy with a knife within 20 feet uh I mean about five metres then they’re bound to be able to stab you, the cops HAVE to shoot people who are nowhere near them instead of using a taser’. Never mind that the Tueller Drill has you starting with a HOLSTERED handgun, and starting relatively close to an attacker, which is to say, in both ways the opposite of what cops responding to an armed offender should be doing.
There is no reason that so many people need to be being murdered by NZ Police.

We just have low recruiting standards, low levels of training, and poor equipment for anything except blowing away some poor bastard driven mad by the destruction of anything resembling a society in this country by Douglass and his cronies.
Don’t attack the cops, don’t get shot.
Simple.
Another person whose had no experiences with our cops, like us there is good and bad ones
I knew one of these men killed and he was a harmless soul he came back from a trip from India unwell and he never really recovered he was suffering from a mental illness.
