China is a reality.

American instability is now a reality.

How do NZ Political Parties save us from the Free Trade neoliberal collapse they spent decades building?

As Trump shits on Global Trade,  where are your free market Gods now?

Free Trade is dead, hyper regionalism is here.

China by far is creating cheaper and more affordable electric cars and solar panels. NZ should be looking to China for a specific arrangement that opens the NZ market up to Chinese electric cars and solar panels to ensure the electrification of NZ is a priority while we invest in our own drone industry in NZ for manufacturing jobs alongside more data centre infrastructure.

With Free Trade dead, we need to strategically turn to China for Green Economy and ourselves for our own security.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

We’d be far better off looking into our past to the time of the dawn of the EEC to better understand which kiwi scum fucked our EU trading partners over to force our diverse agrarian primary industry to go to dairy.
I know! Lets ask these fuckers? ( You won’t but by Jesus there will come a day when you’ll wish you had. )

  2. A couple of days ago it was reported that solar panels produced in China were possessed of a ‘kill switch’ so that they could be immobolised during a crisis or some other time of China’s choosing. Are you sure that you want to give them that much power over us? It seems unwise to me.

  3. Well, given that 5 Eyes is likely to collapse soon enough under Trump, who is going to keep beating the anti China drum?

China held a meeting with Latin American and other countries last week to try and find international trade solutions around the US.

China does 80% of solar panels at ever dropping prices-BYD EVs are good value-and BRICS is getting stronger, NZ could get involved on mutually beneficial terms but the CoC Govt. would obviously not go there.

  4. By all means, economic ties, but no more than we have now (less, actually). Regarding our security, the whole of S.E. and E. Asia stands between them and us. A military alliance of the other Asians and us would be good and enough.

I don’t like big dictatorships, especially — they are inherently wrong (Uighurs for China etc) and dangerous. Why I don’t like our own rich-rule from 1984 — it inevitably produces authoritarianism in time.
