Since dawn, Israeli air strikes and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, resulted in the death of 27 residents and wounding of 85. Civil Defence crews retrieved one more bodyfrom under bomb-damaged buildings, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 52,787. The total wounded is now at least 119,349. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 206. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring GroupSince midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – 1 killed and 9 wounded: Nablus – 13:05, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed the city and besieged a house, killing one resident, Rami Sami Walid Al-Kakhn, and removing his body as well as wounding another nine people: Tayseer Samer Tayseer Abdel Qader, Karim Abdel Fattah Boulos, Muhammad Mabrouka, Sabaa Muhammad Hashash, Muhammad Amjad Kalbouna, Diaa Mustafa Kallab, Ahmed Jamal Abdullah, Amira Ibrahim Hassan Al-Awd and Louay Al-Lafdawi.

Israeli Army attack – 1 child and 1 adult wounded: Bethlehem – 20:30, Israeli soldiers stormed the town of al-Khadr, wounding a 14-year-old boy, Amjad Muhammad Mahmoud Musa, and an adult: Anas Ismail Muhammad Musa.

Israeli Army assault and severe injury: Hebron – the Israeli Army beat-up and severely injured a man, Raed Muhammad Al-Amour, near the entrance to the village of al-Tuwani. He had to be treated by a Red Crescent crew.

Occupation settler vandalism land-grab menace: Tubas – raiding Israeli Occupation settlers bulldozed privately-owned land, in the Umm al-Jimal area of the North Jordan Valley.

Occupation settler threatening pastoral vandalism: Hebron – Israeli settlers invaded the al-Halawa area in the Masafer area of ​​Yatta and threateningly grazed their sheep on land, planted with olive trees around the community’s homes.
