On this mornings Te Kaupapa, Maori Party President John Tamihere attacks and criticises the methodology of the Taxpayers’ Union Poll.

Which begs the question, shouldn’t NZ Herald, RNZ + Stuff be honest about Taxpayers’ Union Poll?

…yet no where, not once do any of those mainstream media tell you as the reader that curia is no longer a member of the Pollster Industry code of ethics.

Curia pulled out of RANZ last year…

…So.

The Taxpayers’ Union Poll is an unregulated Poll.

Why does Stuff and NZ Herald purposely mislead you by not letting know that this Poll is actually outside the boundaries of ethics that the Industry uses?

So the Taxpayers’ Union Poll, which is saying a completely different story to the RNZ and Roy Morgan Poll, is actually an unregulated Poll yet Stuff and NZ Herald  don’t mention that in their breathless coverage that the Government is safe.

  3. Yey! EVERY POLL, TAX PAYER ARE U. yeh i pay taxes, can you dodge them, no even if never, why, taxation is the deposit on all caring societies.
    How come the dodgy, eh who, tax payers self interest uncaring social so called union have a poll, dodgey, who wis asked.

    • As ironic as names such as “labour” who seem to hate workers views and the ‘greens” who don’t seem to give a shit about the environme t anymore…..

  4. Back in the day when news media had more reporting and less opinion they would commission the polls themselves and would never report market research as an independent poll.

I asked the tax payers why they have not pulled the government over the coals for the $75 million they give the smelter every year .Naturally they have not replied to my question which was how can they justify supporting that payment but are happy to support starving children by feeding them pig swill for lunch .

    • What about taxpayers money wasted on the treaty principles bill just to enable Luxon to be PM to appease the little sniveling rat that is David Seymour. His whole party is a waste of tax payer money
