Read and gasp from Bernard Hickey…

Luxon wants media to celebrate National’s homelessness achievements more

PM denies 50% rise in Auckland homeless on streets linked to Govt’s clearout of motels; Instead, he asks why media aren’t celebrating National’s achievements more

…isn’t it astounding?

The very dangers of homelessness that were warned about when the Government changed the emergency housing thresholds have happened and Luxon wants to be congratulated for shutting down those emergency housing programmes without knowing where the people they were dumping out onto the street were going.

He’s run over the cat and wants to be congratulated on his parking!

The Government’s policy has driven the very homelessness that is occurring but he wants us to focus on the excuse they used to make the cuts as a justification.

This only works if you hate poor problem to begin with.

  1. Flogging is too good for ‘em-so rough sleeping, unwarranted cars and sofas will have to do!

Needs to be a political squatting occupation of ghost houses and commercial property to house people and make the point to the likes of Baldrick that it is not ok to stop state house builds and increase homelessness.

    • “squatting occupation of ghost houses “… Good idea. We did it with main roads houded bought and emptied for a highway that nobody wanted, or needed… It forced a change of government there, and that’s what is needed here now.. A change of government before they destroy what used to be a place to be proud of..

  2. I do not know why anyone is supprised .These people were thrown out on the street because you all thought they would all be lazy mori bludgers .Most are a product of the failed mental health system .also no one knew there were so many until the pandemic hit and we had know where everyone was .
NOW they are just bottom feeders so who cares is the mantra .
NZ no longer cares ,what a disgrace .

  3. That’s the thing they don’t understand. The dangers of homelessness and other poverty related problems like hunger. It fuels already angry people to become angrier. Angry young men tend to take action eventually.
If they had jobs, homes and enough food, they’d be busy doing something productive. When they don’t, they think of things to do which we might not like.
You’d think Luxon, being such a Christian, would know that old phrase, ‘the devil makes work for idle hands’.

Stuff is running a poll today. Do you agree with Luxon when he says NZ is a pretty special place in a troubled world? I believe that NZ is a very special place in a troubled world but I don’t believe Luxon does.
This is designed to make it appear that people like him and agree with him.
His problem is, he doesn’t like us and he doesn’t like NZ. We have seen through his thin facade and we don’t like what we see.
He made his views plain before he became PM. Why could the majority not see that it was all talk and most unlikely to be successful or what NZ needed.

He’s always on about productivity, yet at the same time, cuts the ground from under people making it impossible for them to be productive. He expects praise and is cross when he doesn’t get it. Like Mr. Seymour, who is always expecting to be acknowledged as the clever boy he thinks he is. The pair of them need to grow up or get out. We’d rather they got out.

    • nothing special about NZ now its fast becoming a shitty back water .I am advising my family to move to another place so the grand kids stand a better chance in life than here right now .

  4. Chris Luxon has a wish for the establishment media to love him.

It seems to have not sunk in the media in NZ (in general) is:
    1). Very woke
    2). Very left wing
    3). Very pro big government

    • The political spectrum has gone a bit uppy down and back to front in Frank the Tank’s brain. Take your time Frank. And while you’re doing that, we’ll be grown up enough to refrain from mentioning some other words that rhyme with ‘Frank’, not all of them flattering.

    • Frank hearing voices again, right wing Hosking media voices or was that Fran Osulivan or Heather Du Plesis Allen. Those ” left wing media”.
Frank the tank, the epitome of woke.

  5. Everyone knows that Chris never means what he says. Like when he says that he’s in Te Puke he means that he’s in Maui and when he refers to the Hermit Kingdom he really means Parliament.

  6. What people want
    reduced rent
    reduced electricity
    reduced food prices

    What’s been delivered so far
    increased car rego
    reduced school lunches
reduced living wage for MPs cleaners
    reduced public transport

    And let’s not forget
    reduced taxes for landlords
reduced brightline test for land speculators

  7. Just now, this minute, I was nearly scammed on an on-line purchase via trademe.
I bought a thing and that thing’s being couriered to my address but has yet to turn up.
In the meantime scammers contacted me via my email address and wrote that such a glitch could be fixed but that there was a small charge of .50cents involved. Re directions etc. Bull. Shit. They were fishing for my card details.
I’ve just read that above Post re luxon and, you guessed it. Bull. Shit. The same sinking feeling.
luxon’s not a prime ministers arse hole. He’s a fucking scammer. He, so it was reported by a blogger here, a faker until he makes it. That, dear reader, is describing the language of a con artist. A bullshit artist. A fucking liar. Luxon should be under investigation and so should his cronies be. We responsible, hardworking Kiwis are being manipulated by crooks, literally and actually. We need urgent and clarifying help before luxon and his cronies sell us to the american$.
    Oh wait…? They’re already surging.
    rnz
I wonder how many U$A surgers are Israeli’s?

  8. Ugly truth time. The people who voted CoC and just wanted the homeless out of motels – where they were a visible presence and undoubtedly scary and sometimes dangerous – don’t give a f**k what happens to them. Luxon could stick them in helicopters Pinochet-style and tip them into the Tasman see 100km offshore, and his supporters wouldn’t care too much provided they didn’t hear about it too often. And a small minority of them would praise the efficiency and finality of that ‘solution’. Know thy neighbour, even though doing so will make it harder to love them.

  9. I posted this on another article in the Daily Blog and realised after I posted it that it was in the wrong thread.
    But here it is here:
Luxon is very EGO orientated. He loves being the Centre of Attention when things look like they are going well. And e is evasive and resorts to Blame-Games when things are not going well and he looks like an idiot.
But along with his Coalition partner David Seymour and of course ACT Luxon is coming across as being Incompetent and Just as Much Use to NZers as Tits on a Bull.
When HIS government and that includes of course National, ACT and NZ First booted people out of accommodation it meant many ended up living on the streets. There has been no way of keeping track of exactly how many are living on the streets and how many families are having to live in atrocious accommodation eg vehicles.
But here is a thought. Can a Homeless Person of voting age Vote????!! Or is the booting out of people from motels and attempt to remove any of them being able to vote???!!!
There has been a 52% increase in homeless people in Auckland alone. That is a huge concern for many eg the homeless people, the community, the local government etc.etc.etc. But if this 52% cannot vote because they don’t have a Fixed Abode would that indicate the government is only too happy to let them remain homeless??????
