There are few moments of joy in this burnt angry life, let’s enjoy them

My dear, wonderful friend Efeso Collins would tell me you can’t lead the people if you don’t love the people and Fes loved the people.

His passing is still so raw and painful and shocking for many of us, this mural is a beautiful way to cement him into his beloved South Auckland.

A rare ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark world.

We miss you so much Fes.

My 50th Birthday, January 2024

  1. Thanks for showing us the painting.
Mr. Collins was right about loving the people you lead.
Which is where our poor leaders fall down now. They don’t love us one bit. We are just pawns.
In fact, we are just a nuisance.

  2. Yeah thanks, it’s really lovely to see that. Such a major tragedy he was taken away from his family and from us all in NZ far too soon and before his political career had a chance to begin. What a great loss for us all. Why him.

  3. Sorry to read you’re suffering the loss of your friend @ MB. And, happy belated birthday. Like the Fez. Suits you sir. I must go to Fez some day. Try and find the soul of humanity.
Chloe Swarbrick should be PM. Instead we get luxon. Thanks a bunch, right wing morons.
