Winston Peters has never been under the belief that what you say has to make actual sense. Pulling out the odd ok speech internationally, shouldn’t mask the rambling idiot remarks he makes domestically. He can be quite pathetic when he feigns outrage at even the most basic question, but sadly it fools enough people.
He is a long-time conman which says more about the abilities of those fooled by him than anything else.
There’s nothing at all Peters is consistent on. He’s even talking to Bloomberg (but not NZ media) about how he wants to sell off houses to foreigners now.

Hindu nationalism shouldn’t exist anywhere else but India. We have a growing Indian population that is welcome mostly by pakeha businesses and dear I say white supremacist. Hindutva has a sorted history of replicating the NAZI brownshirts during WW2.

My favorite BJP MP (a member of a party praised by Winston Peters) is Brij Bhushan Singh. Singh has openly admitted to being involved in organized crime and a murder (of someone who killed one of his criminal associates). He also has been documented to be involved in both the demolition of the Babri Masjid mosque in 1992, which caused widespread protests (used as an excuse for murders of Muslims by Hindu criminals) and the 1993 Bombay bombings (allegedly carried out by the Dawood Ibrahim gang he was associated with, and blamed on Muslims and Ibrahim by the BJP, without any evidence) which were also used to justify mass rapes and murders of Muslims by Hindu criminals under the direction of Modi.
When I see those two I feel like putting on my Doc’s and getting rowdy.
