1000 Ministry of Health and Oranga Tamariki job losses to fund $2.9b tax breaks for richest landlords – TDB warned you this was a hard right Government

TDB warned you that this was a hard right racist climate denying beneficiary bashing Government when The Democracy Project was attempting to pretend it was moderate.

TDB warned you that the middle class woke activists had alienated more voters than they had attracted and that the Left needed to focus on universals rather than pure temple woke dogma.

TDB warned you that ACT, NZF and National would implement a romper stomper policy platform that would destroy the common good.

Well – looks like TDB was right!

Public sector cuts: Oranga Tamariki to focus on ‘core purpose’, hundreds of jobs set to go

Public sector cuts: 500-plus Ministry of Education jobs on line in cost-saving proposal, union says

Over 1000 job losses at schools and welfare for damaged children, can’t wait to see how the Democracy Project will justify this as moderate.

Remember, we are literally taking out of the mouths of hungry children so National/ACT/NZF can give $2.9billion in tax breaks to the richest landlords, a policy MSD warns will see up to 13 000 children pushed into poverty…

TDB Recommends NewzEngine.com

Officials warn up to 13,000 children will be pushed into poverty as a result of benefit changes

…any time your policy is pushing 13000 children into poverty, you should probs not be implementing it!

Social policy should lift children out of poverty, not push 13000 into it!

We are a petty, small people with a low imagination horizon.

Fixated on cow udders, Rugby and undiagnosed alcoholism where the only emotion is greed, anger and jealousy.

We have all the cultural maturity of a can of day old coke cola.

We vomited up this hateful, malicious and spiteful Government because we were incandescent with rage that Jacinda had the temerity to save 20 000 from Covid and we repaid her with this vile selfish Government who take from the poor to give to the rich.

This is who we is now, this is what we have become.

We should all be deeply ashamed of what we have mutated into.

  1. The Children’s Minister said these back office cuts will be redirected to front line services. Others such as Willis and Luxon have said this at various times. If you redirect spending from one area to another you are not saving 6.5% so how can they be making such statements?

    • Because they are lying. You only have to go back to when the cuts were first announced and they clearly said they were to reign in spending. Much like Willis’s assertion borrowing wont be used to fund tax cuts. They must think the electorate are morons. Roll on the budget for the next episode of “The Great Shitshow of 2024”.

      • Agreed. They are bunch of f’ing liars. No wonder Willis donned a pant suit and headed to Washington. The truth is the ministers are just signing off they have no idea what frontline services are going to look like

    • The exceptions are Luxon’s tik tok back office staff…they get to stay..

What get’s Luxon up in the morning is to see the number of hits he gets on tik tok and instagram..

His big statement from Singapore, when refering to media questions about his excessive social media staff numbers, and acting with the naivety and lack of awareness of a drunk ‘cool dad’ doing the macarena at his daughter’s 16th birthday party, was, ‘ hey, isn’t it great that i am out there doing it!!

      What a numpty!!!

  2. then we will build a tunnel under Wellington at 5x the cost of the new ferries that would have been like having a new state highway one over the cook straight. What a fucken joke Willis and the skin head gang leader are .Auckland needs a new harbour crossing way before the harbour bridge collapses into the sea.

    • This blew me away the other day.

Considering a $10 billion tunnel to save 12 mins.

But $3 billion is too much for improved port facilities and Ferries.

This lot are all over the place flying by the hour to hour.

  3. Just 13000 more jobs to go to get back to where we were before Labour grossly bloated the public service and yet somehow managed to make all the performance metrics worse.
They clogged the arteries of the government machine with woke bullshit.

These cuts are nowhere near enough and they are entirely mandated.

    • History repeating itself. National mutilates the public sector and then health, education, police etc etc etc are eroded. National brings in the private sector to assist with hospital operations at millions of dollars, private charter schools at millions of dollars and the right wing voters are so fucking thick that they can’t see the irony in laying off thousands in the public sector to promote the private sector. The only thing mandated is your empty head.

It would have been good to know the number of staff at Oranga Tamariki in total. Like what percentage is 470? And why are we paying these people redundancy? Private companies don’t pay redundancy.

Duncan we live in Eastern BOP, you need to live here to see the rort of the Govt workers in every Ministry….

  5. how many middle managers are getting the axe vs frontline staff is the actual question…will ceos and senior managers vote for their own reduntancy , I think not.

are the 1000 new jobless expected to find other jobs in wellie unless they’re experienced burger flippers

  6. ” Well – looks like TDB was right! ”

Bomber there was no doubt you saw the writing on the wall and now we have to suffer through the next two and half years or maybe less of it and these people haven’t even begun to roll out their agenda.

The rewards for the rich and the entitled have been noticed.

” Ipsos New Zealand asked 1001 Kiwis about their hopes for the future and their views of the state of the nation in the final week of February. The results, exclusively obtained by Newsroom, line up with the pollster’s findings from 28 countries overseas: People believe the economy is rigged to benefit the rich and powerful and traditional politicians aren’t doing anything about it ”
