Whose interests are ACT actually serving here by silencing the Productivity Commission?
The Atlas Network is an international far right think tank whose extreme policy platform seeks to attack public servants, push for radical privatization, dismantle regulation protecting workers and the environment and champions Landlords over renters.
That sounds remarkably similar to this Government. Who is behind the ACT Party and their policy? The Atlas Network sounds exactly like the policy platform of this new Government and the ACT Party, the Taxpayers’ Union and The NZ Initiative all have links to the Atlas Network so I ask , who is really pulling the strings here?

That being the case, you would therefore have a rather large interest in defending the arcane and sinister influence of the ATLAS Network and their political face in NZ, the ACT party.
For most folk, the selling out of New Zealand and it citizens by ACT warrants more than “shrugs”.

Never heard of them and given that government corruption is my central focus, then this outfit being blamed for government corruption instead of, or ahead of, the true movers and shakers in the world like big finance (BIS, IMF, Blackrock, et al), big pharma, big oil, big tech, NGO’s like WEF, Davos and Chatham House and the military, intelligence, media – industrial complex, to name just a few highly influential organizations, to think that the Atlas Network has the ability to out influence any of the aforementioned is, well, laughable. I reckon we are being sold a fast one that’ll help take the heat off the big gun influences that really bend the ears of politicians – everywhere.
It is clear, to me, that Atlas Network’s objectives are nothing more than neoliberalism on steroids, meaning these guys are amateur hour pundits because incrementalism – moving co-opted policy along at such a slow pace that most people barely notice – is, and has been for decades now, the name of the game for the true political influencers of the world.
Dunno why this mob has become a thing now, but rest assured, bigger forces are having their way with world politics, let alone NZ politics, let alone Act party politics. Don’t be fooled, Atlas Network is a pip squeak level entity, most likely a play thing of one of the big movers and shakers mentioned earlier.
Politics has been co-opted, but look past this convenient fall guy because they are not pulling anyone’s strings other than our own!
