Now the Specials are in, the far right Government of National/ACT/NZF is embryonically forming and as it does, let’s look at the conspiracy theory that is underpinning NZ First’s policy to appreciate just how bat shit crazy the worst Threesome in NZ politics is going to vomit up post orgy.
NZ First are a banjo twanging, anti-indigenous Māori, anti-vaxx, climate denying, redneck cross burning conspiracy theory party and the cavalcade of political circus freak ideas Winston’s reliance on these lunatics generates are jaw dropping in their gleeful bigotry and wilful ignorance.
NZ First want to pull out of WHO because up in Northland, the yokels formed late night discussion meetings at secret locations to fearfully tell one another that WHO colluded with a Satanist child molesting Cabal to manufacture Covid and release it for a shadowy globalist agenda that revolves around basic infrastructure and social planning goals of living 15 minutes away from where you work.
As utterly insane as this is, the Northland yokels (after holding their late night information meetings) launched vigorous grass root attempts to push these weirdo conspiracy theories.
One impact of this was Democracy NZs policy:

Seeing as NZ is a founding member of the World Health Organisation, we are talking hundreds of pieces of public health legislation that has saved hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives over that time.
Basic biology and medical scientific fact gleamed and distilled from WHO best practices have probably saved hundreds of millions of lives over its creation and the idea that this is now somehow a Satanic cabal running mystical agendas is breathtaking in it’s idiocy.
Not to be left behind in the conspiracy stakes, Shane Jones wrote a critical attack in June of this year on the World Health Organisation, where he played to the exact same scare mongering insinuations of a shadowy global conspiracy because the conspiracy theorists of Northland were so vocal in their demands.
NZ First flirted with the conspiracy theorists and are now beholden to this new conspiracy electorate because they only scraped over the 5% with 6%.
This is why Winston was claiming Jacinda knew about the Christchurch Terrorist because one of the favourite conspiracies in the conspiracy theory swamp is Jacinda planned the terror attack in Christchurch so she could ban guns to enable the child molesting satanic Global Cabal to take over NZ.

This is the key point. It matters not anything else. Govt to legislate policy that preserves our sovereignty over any NGO. Would think this would be standard policy everywhere and I am sure that if we do not have this already, then if this is put in front of the public to vote on, we would vote this into place.
Again, nothing else matters. Our Govt should be the only body that has the ability to govern over us!

Bigger point, or to add to my earlier point being – not only should our Govt be the only one that gets to govern over us, but our Govt itself, should not cede authority to, or sign up to agreements that allows a foreign, unelected body, to either supersede our government’s authority over us or be in a position where this foreign body dictates government actions over us.
In short, one aspect of self-determination or sovereign rule that should be sacrosanct is an ability for our government’ to say yay or nay to any action/agreement/policy they have entered in to dependent on the wishes (the vote) of its citizens. Geez, this shite can get very legal-like but yeah, the overall point here is simple – we get decide our government actions, not some unelected, probably foreign, body.

Again, not heard of or perhaps I should say, never noticed Democracy NZ until now. On top of that, I don’t care to notice or know anything about them except for the passage you guys brought to my attention.
As for the passage – preserving self determination, sovereignty is really the issue I am pushing here. Either we have the ability to do this, and if not, then we need to do something about this.
Our Govt should have the ability to say yay or nay to any commitment they have entered in to, which in turn, gives us the ability to vote in or out a Govt that commits to something that we, the people, end up not supporting. This is what democracy should be all about after all.
The issue here is simple, to me. Don’t mean to offend anyone.

Next, I am not talking about withdrawing from anything, but my recent post just above spells out what I would like to see, in short, democracy in action that helps preserve our sovereignty and self-determination.
To put it another way, how many people would be happy for our Govt to give a foreign body authority over us, that our Govt then, cannot reverse! Kinda TPP on steroids, bearing in mind, that I am talking hypothetically here, at this stage. But, as this issue has come to light, then I am arguing that if our behind is not covered against such a hypothetical, then why not cover it anyway, just in case….bearing in mind, again, that covering our behind or not, should be up to us (voted upon) to determine anyway.

Winston was not “raging about transgender bathrooms”. He said sex based bathrooms should be maintained, women’s for women and girls and men’s for men and boys and a separate arrangement for transgender people. The former is has its always been for good reasons and how it is set out in the 1993 Human Rights Act. Perfectly sane and reasonable.
I am deeply suspious of anyone advocating for men (no matter how hey identify) to be allowed into women’s and girls bathrooms and changerooms
Anker. Peters has an impressive track record evidenced on Wikipedia, and served as a good Foreign Minister. But like others, I voted NZ First mainly because of his concern about the trans active extremism, an ideological- based agenda, now part of the school curriculum, which is sexualising and confusing children. This seems to have emanated from gender-bender Greens, been embraced by loopy Labour, and the Nats have not had the gumption to openly address it, whatever they may say privately. Keeping blokes in frocks out of women’s spaces is just part of this. Little girls going all day without hydration because they don’t want to have to pee in a place where boys are, is actually a health issue.
Apropos of this, any politician who thinks that gender can be changed by a simple annotation on a certificate, shouldn’t be in Parliament at all. The only politicians who voted against the dubious Conversion Practices Bill were: Bridges, Brown, Lee, McClay, O’Connor, Penk,Reti and Woodhouse.
