Leslie Bravery is a Londoner with vivid World War Two memories of the Nazi blitz on his home town. In 1947/1948 His father explained to him what was happening to the Palestinians thus: “Any ideology or political movement that creates refugees in the process of realising its ambitions must be inhuman and should be opposed and condemned as unacceptable.” What followed confirmed this assessment of the Zionist entity a hundredfold. Now a retired flamenco guitarist, with a lifelong interest in the tragedy of what happened to the Palestinian people, he tries to publicise their plight. Because the daily injustices they suffer barely get a mention in the mainstream news media, Leslie edits/compiles a daily newsletter, In Occupied Palestine, for the Palestine Human Rights Campaign. These days, to preserve his sanity, he enjoys taking part in a drama group whenever possible!

  1. Yet there are still a majority of people in the Western world who wonder what the Palestinians are complaining about? Obviously committing atrocious acts like the recent Hamas raid is not going to generate any good publicity for them & because of its size commands a lot more attention than the everyday lower level of violence they suffer from the Israeli side. I wish I could see a way out of the problems there but as Israel is the power that needs to make some sort of a major concession to bring about any prospect of peace it seems nothing will change.

  2. This is kind of information overload in a time where the usual undisputed power in this area has for once, taken a hit. Timing. Still, the maps say it all.

  3. You either believe the propaganda or you don’t. It’s been so disappointing seeing ‘experts’ on both sides on one hand fighting for the establishment view in one instant and then fighting the establishment view the next. It’s so lazy but I guess gratifying to those ‘experts’ to just call people ‘Putin puppets’, ‘terrorists sympathisers’ and ‘science deniers’.
