The root of violence is oppression
Ceasefire violations – Palestinian missile and other attacks: Northern Gaza – from morning of 7 October, Resistance fighter in Gaza continued to firing hundreds of rockets towards and across the Green Line with fighters crossing Israel’s Gaza Strip barricades and storminga number of Israeli Army positions and settlements, killing and wounding of hundreds of people,many of them,Occupation soldiers and settlers. Dozens were also captured.
Ceasefire violations – air strikes: Northern Gaza – From 08:00, 7 October until 08:00 8 October, Israeli warplanes carried out dozens of air strikes, service facilities, apartment buildings and houses. Two mosques, one in Beit Lahiya and another in Khan Yunis were also bombed and Gaza’s death toll rose to 256, including women and children. Another 1,788 people were wounded. Altogether 14 houses and 6 apartment tower blocks were destroyed.
Ceasefire violations – Israeli Army attacks: Northern Gaza – 08:00 on 7 October to 08:00 on 8 October, Israeli positions shelled dozens of artillery shells towards agricultural land and other targets in Gaza. A total of 1,788 people including women and children were killed.
Israeli Army – 17 attacks: Jerusalem – Occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades, and liquefied tear gas in al-Ram, Beit Hanina, al-Eizariya, Abu Di, and the village of al-Issawiya. Other places targeted were were , in the Old City of Jerusalem, the neighbourhoods of Silwan, Ras al-Amud, Jabal al-Mukabbir, Wadi al-Joz and the Shuafat refugee camp as well as near the Qalandiya military checkpoint and the towns of al-Ram, Beit Hanina, al-Eizariya, Abu Dis, and the village of al-Issawiya.
Israeli Army – 8 attacks – 2 killed – 18 wounded: Ramallah – Occupation forces at the entrance to the Psagot Occupation settlement and near the Beit El settlement, near al-Mazraa al-Gharbiya, the entrances to the villages of Nabi Saleh, Ras Karkar,and Deir Qadis, the entrance to the Ofer refugee camp and near the entrance to Silwad, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters killing two people and the wounding 18 others. The 18 wounded are: Hamada Abdel Halim Jaber, Ahmed Khaled Al-Faroukh, Omar Saed Tayseer, Salah Nader Ayyad, Muhammad Rami Musa Bitar, aged 14, Ward Jasser Abu Al-Hajj, Jawad Yaqoub, Moataz Youssef Nabhan. , Ahmed Amarneh, aged 15, Muhammad Abdel Moneim Maatan, Youssef Al-Zaatari, Youssef Muhammad Jamal Al-Amleh, Luay Abdel Fattah Youssef Al-Bwaitl, Maan Muhammad Ismail Othman, Ahmed Bassam Nazmi Hassan, Murad Mansour Muhammad Al-Hindi, Abdel-Rahman Ahmed Turkman and Ahmed Durgham Abu Ramadan.
Israeli settler – attack – 2 wounded – agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 11:05, Israeli settlers opened fire on shepherds near the village of al-Mugheir, wounding two of them, Ayham Abu Naim and Rakad Abu Juma.
Israeli settler stoning: Ramallah – 14:10, Israelis from the Beit El Occupation settlement stoned nearby passing vehicles.
Israeli settler attack – agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 16:30, a guard from the Talmon Occupation settlement opened fire on olive harvesters on Deir Ammar village land.
Occupation settler live fire: Jenin – evening of October 7 and morning of October 8, armed Israelis from the Merav Occupation settlement opened fire on the homes of Jalboun villagers.
Israeli Army attack – 2 wounded: Tulkarem – 21:00, the occupation forces fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned, wounding 2 people
Israeli Army attack – child killed: Qalqiliya – Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters near the Eyal checkpoint killed a 13-year-old boy, Ahmed Abdel Nasser Rabi.
Israeli Army attack – 6 wounded (3 minors): Nablus – 19:15, at the Beit Furik checkpoint, the Israeli Army, firing live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters wounded six people including three minors, Khamis Fawzat Hanani, aged 12 years old, Karam Sari Nasasrah, aged 13 and Mahmoud Hussein Nasasrah aged 17 year. Another person, Fadi Ahmed Nihad Hanani, was also wounded.
Israeli Army attack – 13 wounded: Nablus – 20:25, Israeli troops, near the entrance to the village of Burqa, fired live ammunition rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters, wounding 13 people.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Nablus – 23:45, in the village of Yatma, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on and wounded a person, Saad Muhammad Al-Amleh, and then took him prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – child wounded: Nablus – evening, Israeli Occupation forces firing live ammunition wounded a child near the entrance to Beita.
Israeli Army attack – youngster killed: Nablus – 02:20, Israeli forces at the Deir Sharaf checkpoint opened fire on and killed a youngster, Ahmed Atef Ahmed Awawda, aged 19.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – agricultural sabotage – arson: Nablus – armed Israeli Occupation settlers in the Jabal Subeih area of Beita opened fire towards on olive harvesters. They also attacked people in the village of Yanun and in the village of Sarra. They set fire to olive trees on land between Qusra and the village of Jalloud, and closed the road between their Qusra and the village of Jalloud. They also attacked people and property, stoning vehicles in Huwara and near the tow Beita, Aqraba and Beit Furik. One person wounded was Zein Bassem Sari Kanaan.
Israeli Army attack – 5 wounded – 1 taken prisoner: Salfit – 17:10, the Israeli Army shot and wounded five people confronting raiding settlers near the entrance to the village of Yasuf. One other person was taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded – houses set on fire: Salfit – Israeli settlers near Kafr al-Dik, Burqin and the villages of Yasuf and Marda shot at farmers and set fire to two houses. One person in the village of Yasuf was wounded by a sharp bladed weapon.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed – child wounded: Jericho – 17:10, Israeli forces, opening fire near the northern entrance to Jericho, killed one person and wounded a child.
Israeli Army attack – 1 beaten and injured – attack on home: Bethlehem – Israeli settlers opened fire on a house in the village of Husan and beat up a person near Tuqu’. They also opened fire on a family in the village of Kisan an stoned vehicles on the road between Nahalin and the village of Husan.
Israeli Army attack – 13 wounded in including 10-year-old child: Hebron – Occupation forces opened fire in the Old City area of Jabal Jawhar and Bab al-Zawiya as well as near the entrances to Beit Ummar, Bani Naim and the al-Aroub refugee camp, wounding 13 people including a child and a news reporter. Two people ,Youssef Nader Suleiman Idris aged 19 and Mahmoud Basem Akhmis aged 18 were killed in Hebron. 13 people were wounded, including a 10-year-old child, Muhammad Adli Al-Qawasmi.
Israeli police and settlers’ mosque violation: Jerusalem – 13:00, settler militants, escorted by Israeli police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.
Israeli Army interference – property violation: Qalqiliya – 01:50, Israeli Occupation forces bulldozed privately-owned land near the eastern entrance to Qalqilya.
Israeli Army abduction: Nablus – 20:00, Israeli troops at the Beit Furik checkpoint abducted a 14-year-old boy, Hamdan Muhammad Hanani.
Israeli Army population control: Hebron – the Israeli Army closed the bridge to Halhul, the entrance to the Fahs area, the entrances to Idhna Bani Naim, al-Samou’, al-Dhahiriya, the al-Aroub refugee camp, the entrance to al-Nabi Yunis, the Ziv village road junction and the northern entrance to Hebron.
Occupation settler violence – injury: Jerusalem – Israeli settlers assaulted people in the Old City of Jerusalem, one of the injured is a refugee, Ammar Muhammad Abbas.
Occupation settler stoning: Tubas – settlers in the al-Hama and Khallet Makhoul areas of the north Jordan Valley stoned motor vehicles and terrorised shepherds.
Occupation settler vandalism: Jericho – 15:05, Israeli settlers damaged a person’s vehicle.
Occupation settler stoning: Hebron – Israelis from the Kiryat Arya and Efrat Occupation settlements stoned people’s homes vehicles and an ambulance near Surif.
