Jesus fucking wept!

The latest extraordinary investigative journalism from Pulitzer Award Winning Journalist Seymour Hersh is made so much more poignant because his detail is difficult to refute alongside his past history of exposing power.

Hersh is one of the best journalists the planet has and if he says that America purposely colluded with Norway to blow up the Nordstream pipeline that released 400 000 tons of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere,  then they fucking did!

Hersh’s previous body of work has been some of the best investigative journalism using decades of contacts within the Military and the Political Elites. He is rarely faulted, and the evidence and time frame he narrates looks inexcusably true.

If what has been alleged is true, the Americans had no intention of never blowing these pipelines up, they were only concerned about not getting caught!

That means they were always prepared to commit a climate disaster on purpose no matter what the outcome!

They were always going to commit an ecological genocide for their long term political ambitions of hurting Russia.

These Gods of Corporate War and White Christian Rage were always prepared to cause an ecological carnage to broaden their moves on the geopolitical chess board.

New Zealand must go to the United Nations and demand an investigation into these extraordinary allegations, because if there is any truth in this matter, America and Norway have committed a grotesque crime against the environment that is simply so obscene in its magnitude that it can not, must not go unpunished!

What the fuck is going in here? Are these allegations true or not because if they are true, the civilised world must reject such needless violence against the environment!

  3. On point of Norway being economically beneficial to the Nordstream pipeline sabotage. The head of NATO is a Norwegian national and ex PM of Norway ‘Jens Stoltenberg’. He and Jim Crow Biden have thrown 10s of millions of Germans under the bus for their own economical and long term geopolitical strategic advantage. Tic for tac is the game that Russia can play aswell. Lets see if the Norway pipelines will one day be prone to sabotage?

    New Zealand is a best friend and will do absolutely nothing regarding this. That’s what an independent foreign policy really looks like in reality when it comes to a conflict like the Ukraine. We do what we are told.

    Russia’s war in the Ukraine is the driving force behind this sabotage and the any damage to the environment and the climate would I am sure never been considered when the U.S Navy and the Norwegians took action.

    ” Then-White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Hersh’s report was “riddled with inaccuracy and outright falsehoods,” while former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell told CBS News at the time that he “got a third of the way through [the article] and I stopped because every sentence I was reading was wrong.”

    Their denials as usual are just not plausible.

  9. Of course they are true. That was obvious from the very beginning. Why would Russia blow up its own pipeline, especially when all it had to do was turn off the taps. As it was, it was the West which was refusing to buy Russian gas, not Russia refusing to sell it.

  10. It was clear who sabotaged the pipeline even at the time it occurred. Only two entities had the ability to do the act (i.e. Russia and the United States), whereas only one of these two had the motivation to do it (i.e. the United States). Russia had spent billions on the pipeline, and was benefitting from the revenue it was receiving through gas sales to Europe, principally Germany. If Russia wanted to cut off supplies to Germany, they would have closed a valve rather than destroying valuable infrastructure. So, Russia didn’t do it. Moreover, let’s not forget that Liz Truss (remember her?) sent a text that was later leaked saying “It’s done,” while Former Polish minister and member of the European Parliament Radoslaw Sikorski posted on social media “Thanks, USA” along with a photo of the leaking conduit. So there was never any doubt who did what.

    However, the main point isn’t really the ecological consequences, the point is that the affair clearly demonstrates the cynical machiavellian thinking of Washington DC and how its rhetoric is completely at odds with reality. In the interests of preventing any close relationship and alliance between Germany and Russia (which has been an ongoing aim for 100 plus years), the Americans crippled the economies of their so-called “allies” in NATO, principally Germany but many other European nations as well.

    We are told that Russia operates “outside the rules-based order” of the more (self-described) moral and noble nations of the world, and as evidence, we are directed to events in Ukraine. But if Russia do so act, then they are in good company. When Washington talks of its “rules-based order” what they really mean is whatever is best for them, with the implication (seen in the Nordstream affair) they can simply ignore any of their purportedly noble standards as an when it suits them, if it advances their interests or the interests of their friends.

    • Why would anyone waste time on fake genocides literally invented by the enemies of humanity so that they can pretend that their own very real ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinians is no big deal?

What is most disturbing about this sabotage is it shows that the US will stop at nothing to achieve its aims, which is deeply disturbing when it has more nuclear weapons than any other country in the world. One has to wonder, does the leadership of the US have any self-control anymore? We are not talking about JFK or Nixon trying to reduce the threat of nuclear war. We are talking about a country with a first strike policy. Given that the US knows it can’t win a conventional war against China, will it consider using a first strike nuclear attack? This is what the Chinese will be wondering.

    He’s become less believable in his later years especially when claiming Pakistan was holding Bin Laden captive before the raid that killed him.
    Hersh is claiming this Nord Stream attack theory all from a single unverifiable source.
    = story needs verification before believing, could be one man’s continuing descent in to delusion from a once insightful journalist.

    • Even if Hersh can provide no evidence, it’s not at all difficult to believe that it was the US who sabotaged Nordstream 2.

    • Nicko and many others against Hersh; who is said to be notoriously unreliable? If you are going to take on the blogmaster Nicko, what is your own status on reliability? Assertions mean nothing to me, give us the links and preferably copy of paragraph where it states the example of Hersh’s unreliability – about what was he unreliable? Not from the dark web either. Are your links going to be reliable? It’s useless to give us your strong opinion, we are all cynical about those here.

  26. I have to say I always suspected the Yanks and a month or two later when Germany sailed through the winter with almost no disruption to energy supply (or as it appeared to me), it looked increasingly forewarned on the Nato side.

    Meh, not good but not unheard of on either side during ‘war’ time (oh I forgot, NATO isnt at war!!) definitely well within the West’s playbook.

    • C’mon the USA puts up Christianity like a shield – have commercialised and cheapened it. Talking about it, referring to it constantly, reinforcing with polls as to how religious USAmericans are creates a climate of probity they erect for themselves which mixed with a show of puritanism is part of their sales pitch for themselves.

      If you get the reports of the two days discussion that the USA leaders and professionals undertook before deciding to drop the nuclear bomb on Japan, most of the time was in technical discussion, only a little at the start about moral and ethical religious concerns…
      because ‘God is with us – on Our side’.

  32. All that gas is getting sold elsewhere and won’t come back, short of a miracle Germany will have to live on less energy at many times the cost. The US just Morgenthaued Germany. The message to the rest of the world is that the US is a very dangerous ally, one who cannot be trusted.

    • Actually Nick I would not be surprised if the pipeline is repaired and in operation within a couple of years.
      Once the issues are resolved in Ukraine which will not take much longer without full on active involvement of Nato, I think self interest will soon take over in Germany. If Nato gets properly involved in the war though there may be no one to use any gas.
