Human Rights Commission tries to stuff online hate Genie back into bottle while Jacinda threatens Big Sister

The Human Rights Commission wants you to forget all the hateful things said about you on social media and wants you to love each other…

Yeah. Good luck with that.

Post Me Too, we are now in the age of subjective rage, where there is no objective truth, the new evidential threshold is whatever someone says on social media, cancellation by woke Lynch mob is a weekly event and incel 4chan disinformation feral QAnon white supremacist death threats are a daily occurrence.

We are all now unforgivable.

When both extremes are so polarised, it’s almost impossible to stop what happens next, that’s why it was so essential to de-escalate the Dumb Lives Matters protest on Parliament Lawns.

We chose not to de-escalate that, and now we have to live with fractured dimensions of reality.

The Left is no longer a Broadchurch, it is a pure temple that has driven everyone out who doesn’t believe in woke dogma.

This is driving voters into the arms of the right because there is no shared ground or common values between Left wing activists.

Woke middle class identity politics dogma stipulates that all white people are irredeemable cross burning racists, believe all women that all men are rapists and anyone supporting free speech is a uniform wearing Nazi who hates the Trans community.

There is NO wriggle room in that woke trinity.

The call out cancel culture mixing with the feral Qanon incel right wing hate clique in a time of outrage olympics is contributing to a feral political narrative that is fed by social media hate algorithms.

Meanwhile the Prime Minister is selling a Big Sister narrative at the UN with demands to crack down on the internet in the name of safety.

There is almost an inevitable gravity to the rupturing we face.

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

If you can’t contribute but want to help, please always feel free to share our blogs on social media

  1. “Meanwhile the Prime Minister is selling a Big Sister narrative at the UN with demands to crack down on the internet in the name of safety.”

aren’t we lucky that is the leader of the socialist kind Labour Party that peddles that narrative, imagine how much worse it would be if it were some dude from the National Party.
Vote Comrades! Just don’t expect different outcomes.

  2. as it’s impossible to define ‘hate speech’ it’s impossible to legislate on it.

or if anyone out there does have a working definition feel free to share.

    • @Gagarin
In the applied context ‘hate speech’ appears to be ‘speech that you hate’.
It’s like advocating for the military use of poison gas. Highly effective till the wind changes direction.

    • It’s totally meaningless. A reasonable standard to ban is speech that directly encourages imminent violence. There could be an argument made for banning false claims that incite the genocide of ethnic groups, statements like “israel has a right to exist”, but the ‘hate speech’ nonsense is just an excuse for not having real standards.

      • “Israel has a right to exist” is a ‘false claim’ that incites genocide? Yeah, okay mate – this sort of nonsense is exactly why hate speech laws will never work.

    • Gagarin. Clamping down on “hate speech” means silencing dissenters or persons who think differently from those who claim to be the sole source of “ truth. “

  3. > Leave off the swear words.

    Fuck that shit.

So many platforms banning all kinds of shit, if your argument against an idea is deletion and banning then I assume it’s a mighty fine idea that can’t possibly be argued against. Uptick that cancel button and sweep “trolls” into the gutter, all you’ll get is dirtier trolls.

  4. These responsibilities include…..

There wouldn’t be much left to say, if all those elements were removed, would there? And they’re so subjective, people can take offence at almost anything other people write, no matter how considered it may be. As I know full well.
