  1. Good show guys! Matthew talked too much (with valid points). I wanted to hear a bit more from Shane though. FYI. Good sow, thank you all

  2. I don’t know how to get to your podcast. I remember the Ralston Group and hope to goodness graciousness there is a Left talker that takes no prisoners. With thirty-eight years of memories in the era of Douglas — no other way to describe it, despite, because, his littleness — there was Anderton for a brief second, that made Prebble go a ghoulish greed in the Ninety-Nine TV debates, but not a great talker who stuck out over time, when talking is one of the people’s few trump cards. Hooten is a good cove but bowing before him is like bowing to a dead rat. It’s something wrong fundamentally with us.

Loved the good talkers on RNZ in the eighties, nineties and noughts — kept our rightful cause alive. A brilliant talker would sweep all the rats before them. What has been lacking in the Anglosphere’s Left? And isn’t it worth a try? Focus groups are a short-cut to a funerary stone.

  3. Agreed Billid. Love him or hate him, Hooten is gold.

With satirical genius Hooton destroyed any credibility Dr Sharma might have had. I hope this doesn’t prove to be unfair to the good Dr. I really think he is best working as a Dr. We desperately need Drs. Politicians a dime a dozen
