If we’ve finished crucifying Uffindell, whipping Lorck & canonising Sharma – Food inflation is biting

2003 is calling, we'd like all your bullying and toxic masculinity back thanks

What are we doing now?

Whipping Anna Lorck using Millennial bully triggers?

Anna’s sin was she got drunk at an event and needed a lift home – BURN HER!

I love how Millennial snowflake bully triggers are now included in our WAR ON BULLYING and that the snowflakes are allowed to make these allegations anonymously.

The audacity of claiming bullying when you are doing it anonymously for tasks you believe are beneath you…

The female staffer, who spoke to the news organisation on condition of anonymity, claimed Lorck was “demanding” and gave her menial tasks while she was working as her executive assistant.

…is almost as gasp inducing as Alison Mau’s latest column on bullying accountability while running kangaroo Me Too campaigns on her very platform.

Have we finished crucifying Uffindell and canonising Sharma yet?

In this age of subjective rage where there is no objective truth, there is only your measurement of triggered micro aggressions to decide what is innocuous and what is a hate crime.

We are now a cult of wounds, all so quick to expose our scars in the intersectionist roulette of victimhood, a social media ocean of cacophony that screams our pain for cultural hierarchy

We have a dispassionate court process that takes the emotion out of the justice process so that it is clear eyed and not drenched in vengeance.

I can’t tell the difference between a sensible sentencing trust Lynch mob and a woke lynch mob any longer!

Praps, as a country, as a culture, as a people, we all need a big cup of harden the fuck up because the worst is yet to come.

There is something to be said of forgiving those who transgress you and being stoic about what we can control.

The ever shifting Rubik’s cube of woke identity politics dogma endlessly gazing at ones naval to expose the next thought criminal builds little.

Currently we have a compulsory mass group therapy session where people’s feelings are the only currency.

While we unforgivingly tie ourselves endlessly in knots, food inflation is exploding…

Food price crunch: Fruit and vegetables lead increase

Food prices were 7.4% higher in July this year compared with a year earlier, Stats NZ says, and fruit and vegetable prices increased by 10%.

It said there were increase in price across all the food categories that are measured.

Grocery food was up 7.5%. Restaurant and ready-to-eat food was up 6.6%. Meat, poultry and fish were up 7.7%.

Stats NZ said grocery food was the biggest contributor to the annual movement.

…look at the enormous economic pain being caused by the current post covid economy, now imagine where that will be by December when Russia’s strangulation of gas dislocates and destabilises the entire European economy.

We have barely begun the looming economic meltdown and we are utterly unprepared for what is coming but sure, bullying is the crisis and kangaroo court micro aggression policing is the solution.

While we squabble over who is the biggest bully, we won’t have the luxury of hysterically screaming ‘gaslighting’ because Putin is about to cut all the gas.

Our brittle weakness is collectively beneath the challenge of our times.

  1. You need this send this to Dr Sharma because he is on a crusade and is not going to give up the lime light any time soon. I suspect he will bore us all to death however with his tales of woe!

In his world the only thing that matters is Gaurav Sharma. End of story!

  2. Nail on the head with Putin. He survived the summer – now the winter Europe has to get through. If it is cold – watch them fold one-by-one leaving the old coot’s minders holding the baby.

Nobody in history has won a war of attrition against Russia. The West in it’s current state sure as hell won’t.

    Also:

At some stage New Zimbabwe has to release it’s GDP figures and show it is in a recession. Can’t wait for Poor Man’s Gordon Brown to explain that one.

  3. Dr. Sharma doesn’t appear to have done anything wrong. If you find his reveals boring perhaps it means you don’t care about rules and processes and our politicians possibly, cough, being self-serving and corrupt.
They are being shown up as the despicable shite that they collectively are.
Dr. Sharma excluded at this stage.

    • Magit who is to say that the process has not been followed? He raised a complaint about some travel expenses. One group say it was investigated and found it not to be an issue. He on the other hand implies everyone is lying and no investigation took place. May be he is a shit stirrer because he did not like the outcome, or may be not. “Cough”, he is a politician too

I do find it laughable that everyone (especially those supporting other parties) instantly thinks what this guy has said is gospel. Based on what? Probably for no other reason than it suits their argument or they have zero time for Ardern. Just like the Unffindel case speculation is meaningless.

  4. Did Lork NEED or DEMAND a lift home? Was it a requirement of the staff member’s employment contract? No, Lork’s sin was that she treated her staff member as a lackey

    • Thomas – There’s something so sweetly old-fashioned about being asked to drive a drinked-up colleague home, that the moment could be cherished. Things are a little of kilter here – it’s not as if the pair had to stagger home along muddy roads assaulted by swooping owls and risking frostbite, hypothermia, or lost shoes – the sober one got to drive. Happens. Some might regard it as a compliment.

      • This is ludicrous. If you’re out together and your workmates drunk you drive him or her home thats the rule. After 50 years of drink drive adverts and 200 years of kiwi mateship why is this overly precious complainent even being given the time of day.

    • Do you know she demanded? Several times I was in situations where my “superior” drank too much and needed a ride home. I always found it interesting because I heard things that I may not normally have. Used it a couple of times to head things off at the pass.
In Lorks case the unknown was staying in her house which I find a little strange but she didn’t say she was expecting to drive until Lork said she couldn’t drive herself.

  5. Feeding a family reasonably nutritiously is a challenge now with fewer people in the position to grow or produce their own food. Significant price differences in basics like eg marmite, mean little when the time and means to shop around between food outlets mightn’t be available to everybody, and similarly, buying yellow-stickered food like meat or fish, isn’t possible at some supermarkets. They should be offering old bread at reduced prices when quality fresh bread is so expensive and the cheaper soft white loaves are gut wreckers. The free fruit for kids is a nice little offer from the rich supermarkets.

The practicalities of trying to feed a family obviously escape the attention of busy politicians, and trying to tell them is a waste of time when they never listen to anybody anyway. Just look at Carmel Sepuloni flying in the face of expert advice and desperate to dump the Commissioner for Children because they’re a proven benefit to disadvantaged at-risk children.

The health and economic implications of bad eating are also of little interest to politicians whose focus barely stretches beyond the next three years, and whose intellectual prowess peaked in their teens when they were busy belting each other up and honing their general oafishness.

  6. Thanks to the former Hon Ruth Dyson our MP’s do not drink drive now , perhaps a taxi ride would have been a better option for Mrs Lorck when she is on the turps…

  7. Fuck uffindell. Who cares? No one cares.
    “Food inflation is biting”
But we don’t need ‘food’! Food’s grown by filthy fama’s dahlings and who needs them? The real makers of ‘foods’ an’ that are the supermarkets. They have farms out the back beside the car parks. I bet you didn’t know that. In a neoliberal, market forces, user pays, trickle down economy everything’s either a scam or a swindle which is awesome because think of the weight loss?
The only way to sort AO/NZ is to re-socialise the neoliberal, fascist-capitalist democracy we had rammed up our arses, and that’s never going to happen so we’re all fucked.

Is also funny… In many parts of the soon to be desperately poor First World people can have road side gardens. In Nu Zillind you’ll get busted by the council if you try that one on but it’s super ok to be surveilled without your knowledge or permission by a state that’s got the hand of capitalism up your back passage.

Let me dwell on that for a mo…? “…and seeing inside a car to spot drivers…” I repeat. “…and seeing inside a car to spot drivers… ” When I took away all the sugarless, puff pastry around tail gating, speeding and the general dumb fuck behaviour of the moron-class Kiwi with a car I was left with “…and seeing inside a car to spot drivers…” And so, that familiar cold shiver began it’s long journey up my spine.

  8. Suddenly the advantages of nepotism are becoming crystal clear and the practicalities of filling one’s workplace with whanau beckon very seductively indeed, unless the said relatives be Irish who eat other people for breakfast, or Nats with half a Chinese reckoning out per Indian, or standard bearers for diversity paranoid about anybody looking different, or colourless males, or Green girls using dirty words, in which case, outsource everything to a call centre in Mumbai, Jakarta or Gore, use sign language to communicate with all colleagues, and drink only with strangers.

  9. Maybe someone needs to look up what an Executive Assistant is actually supposed to do, before taking on the role. They should possibly also note that “Discretion and confidentiality”, does not involve whining anonymously to reporters.

“Executive Assistant’s responsibilities include managing calendars, making travel arrangements and preparing expense reports. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills and be able to act without guidance.

Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.”

    “Requirements and skills:
Work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
    Excellent MS Office knowledge
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    Discretion and confidentiality

      Fast-paced, exciting & stimulating environment
      Heart of Executive Government
Working on a variety of tasks will make you an invaluable team member
Hon Phil Twyford and Hon Kieran McAnulty are seeking an administrative extraordinaire to join their teams. You will be a dedicated and committed team player, exceptionally well organised who can multitask and get things done. There will be opportunities to utilise your communications and research skills.

Providing a range of tasks that contribute to a well-run ministerial office, your day will include being the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries to the office, which makes experience in a customer facing role highly desirable. You will be responsible for assisting with diary management, making travel arrangements, and processing invitation and meeting requests so a strong eye for detail is a necessity.

To perform well in the role, you must have exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills. You will be proficient in Microsoft suite and managing databases. You will be confident with technology, and able to set up and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment. Dealing with members of the public and confidential information will mean you display sound judgement and act with integrity at all times. Working at Parliament offers an extremely unique experience and presents an exciting challenge for those in search of an administrative role with a difference. You will be working at the heart of Government where policy decisions affecting all New Zealanders are made. This role can lead to future professional development opportunities on the precinct. As you gain experience, you could be given tasks to further develop your skills.

It is a necessary requirement of this role to hold a National Security Clearance. There are certain criteria that must be met in this regard.”

good grief, but i guess Labour can only be faulted and never fuck up by itself.
Also this role will go to someone with Tertiary Education a BA at least, with many years of experience.

      • The person holding that position will certainly work to earn their money, if they want to do a good job. It certainly wouldn’t be for the fragile or faint hearted, and burn out wouldn’t be uncommon. It isn’t a 9 to 5 role, where you spend most of your time filing your nails & updating your social media status, between coffees and long café lunches. I suspect they chew through a few candidates, before finding someone who can tick all those boxes..

Not sure how they find someone who can “act with integrity at all times” and still manage to work with politicians though.

      • Nice job Bratwurst, too much info though, you normally grunt with no proof, nor substance . Better, if you called yourself Whaleburst.

Do you also believe that shit about the Mosque Shootings being faked Bratwurst-Whaleburst?

Do you believe that journalists like Simon Power’s Breakfast magazine show in the morning, would like to read your and agree with your posts Bratwurst-Whaleburst?

How about the government agencies tracking extremism in NZ? How do you think Eggstien was found Bratwurst – Whaleburst? Any clues?

Keep up your great work Bratwurst-Whaleburst.

  10. There sure are real issues to deal with. Let’s deal with the Sharma situation and get it out of the way first.

Parliamentary Service says Gaurav Sharma’s claim of staff ‘misusing’ taxpayer money was staff travel and ‘normal practise’

“Parliamentary Service has confirmed that one allegation raised by disgruntled Labour MP Gaurav Sharma – misspending of taxpayers money – was normal practise and within the rules.

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/129573930/parliamentary-service-says-gaurav-sharmas-claim-of-staff-misusing-taxpayer-money-was-staff-travel-and-normal-practise

This piece of the Sharma situation and behaviour reminds me of Trump. He’s not getting what he wants and he’s going to take down all and sundry with him. The travel expenses issue seemingly being so easily put to bed, refuted points to a serious lack of credibility and judgement of the MP.

      • I questioned expenditure of our MP. He gave the classic “It’s within the rules.”

MPs accommodation and travel expenses are available to the public, other expenses not. So, how much do MPs spend for advertising met by Parliamentary Services? I reckon ours spent many thousands on party political advertisements in 2020. The powers that be did not agree with me that they were party political advertisements. I disagreed appealed, but lost. They did not think the advertising was untoward or out of the ordinary. It clearly was. In election year he’d ramped up newspaper advertising dramatically. Now when I see the MP who was elected ahead of him advertising I think “You go for it, screw it for what you can get.”

What got me was that while the MP raved about money not being spent on things which needed doing he probably spent more than $20,000 telling people he was the MP and where we could contact him. What? You know, money for a teacher aide in our school. You know money for operations in our hospital.

  11. Totally agree. While snowflakes are alarmed at being asked to drive their drunk boss home (bear in mind MP’s do a lot of after hours events so would assume part of any assistant job) there are actual real bullies out their inflicting violence with guns and knives.

Apparently the police think the crime wave is normal and it’s because of their better reporting… Hmm keep telling themselves that while in therapy!

    • This is hysteria designed to gain public support for things like a roll back of civil liberties, due process and the imposition of a police state. Police officers shouldnt be allowed to beat people within an inch of their life, or gun them down like dogs.

      • There lies the disparity of opinion, on one hand the woke think that people are hysterical if they are victims of crime including victims of armed crime who woke have little sympathy for, while at the same time feeling that a worker in a paid position, was once required to move furniture and drive an MP home has been victimised and bullied (front page news).

There are those who have the opposite view of what is victimisation and hysteria. (And in my view the if Labeen can’t pivot into the latter opinion about victims of crime, then they will not win.)

        • Do you want to live in a society where cops are allowed to beat and kill who they like

George Floyd was executed by a racist Trump supporting cop because of the tough on crime policies you want to impose.

COP NEVER SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW.

You are nothing but a bootlicking KKK supporter who licks their lips at the thought of cops being able to beat young Maori to within an inch of their lives and get away with it.

  12. You’re on to something Martyn. In my view, the slippery slope began with the banning of the public lolly scramble, ironically not because sugar was public enemy #1 as it should be. Meanwhile, back in the real world …

  13. the old girls club at work

    PALE STALE and FEMALE

it’s inevitable that equality in the workplace makes women administrators behave as badly as male ones…in a way it’s a good sign that we are all the same..

  14. did he get told to pull his head in? well he should be being told that now. This trial by social media should get him a good slapping – I’ll be first to throw a dildo from off camera.

  15. Sharma is a more moderate version of Jamie Lee Ross. JLR had mental problems and was suicidal and Labour respected this and did not play politics with it leaving the nasty Collins and Bennett to . On the other hand the NATZ nasty dirty politics team is encouraging its right wing tory trolling bloggers, MSM and keyboard nerds to exploit Sharma’s mental situation to the max.
I was supportive of Sharma at the start as he was a Doctor and he could contribute to the fight against COVID however he has not contributed and been a failure. It is not normal and unusual for any loyal party MP to dis their party on face-book, Twitter or other media platform.
Therefore all I can say is that he is a deadwood and should be expelled from the party. He can stay as MP for 18 months or better still go back as a Doctor.
