True death rate of Covid demands more scrutiny of origins of the virus in China

The Vanity Fair expose clearly points to funding Fauci green lighted For EcoHealth Alliance to research the very Covid virus that is then released near a lab at the centre of the outbreak.

The true death rate of Covid could be double what official numbers suggest???

World Health Organisation attempts to reveal true number of deaths globally

It’s a question many of us have long had on our minds: what’s the real number of deaths globally caused by the coronavirus pandemic?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is in the middle of an ambitious effort to answer this – but it’s facing a big problem.

Experts who have been researching the answer for the WHO over the past year believe that the true Covid-19 death toll up to the end of 2021 sits at a staggering 15 million – although this data has not yet been publicly released, the New York Times reported.

That’s more than double the official toll that countries have reported separately, at six million.

Last months Vanity Fair expose on the machinations of China, the Wuhan Lab, Fauci and the insanely incompetent EcoHealth Alliance forces all rational minds to re-examine  the Wuhan Lab Leak theory…

“This Shouldn’t Happen”: Inside the Virus-Hunting Nonprofit at the Center of the Lab-Leak Controversy

Chasing scientific renown, grant dollars, and approval from Dr. Anthony Fauci, Peter Daszak transformed the environmental nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance into a government-funded sponsor of risky, cutting-edge virus research in both the U.S. and Wuhan, China. Drawing on more than 100,000 leaked documents, a V.F. investigation shows how an organization dedicated to preventing the next pandemic found itself suspected of helping start one.

the craven China worship by quisling website Socialist Equality Group decry any criticism of the largest human rights abusing regime on the face of the Planet, China, by attacking anyone challenging their authoritarian abuses.

The SIS should openly investigate Socialist Equality Group as Chinese enablers and for possible treason.

The deep suspicion of China is legitimate.

We know there were embassy cables warning Trump that the Wuhan Lab was a safety risk.

We know US Intelligence picks up a pandemic in November.

We know the lab was experimenting on the virus and that scientists have now cast suspicion on the virus having been tampered with.

Because of the prevalence of these types of labs and with human error factored in, there is an 80 percent chance of a a dangerous pathogen escape every 12.8 years.

We know lab staff suffered symptoms exactly like Covid a month before the first case in December.

The lack of a definitive answer however is politically dangerous and cultural damaging.

The NZ mainstream media have righteously hated on Trump and his disinformation campaigns but the irony that he might have been right all along about the real possibility of the Wuhan Lab leaking the virus is a body blow to establishment media credibility.

Watch Trump use this in his 2024 campaign.

The Vanity Fair expose clearly points to funding Fauci green lighted For EcoHealth Alliance to research the very Covid virus that is then released near a lab at the centre of the outbreak.

That at the very least demands some examination and not the usual screams of xenophobia from the usual and predictable defenders of China.

  1. and if you do prove definitively where the virus originated how many of the dead will that bring back and will you also then ‘follow the money’ well???

the wests failure in preparing for any pandemic was a big part of the problem because it was inevitable that one would come along sooner or later and we* (like many other threats ignored it till the water was up to our knees) were not remotely prepared mark my words other pandemics will arise and our time and energy should be spent in preparation.
but hey a good old yellow peril never lost anyone a vote.

*when I say ‘we’, in this instance I mean the world not just NZ

    • I would suggest that ‘a good old yellow peril’ would in fact lose many votes given the huge numbers of Chinese in NZ / other minorities that may feel threatened by any ‘attack’ on another minority / the shitloads of woke NZ Europeans who would rather boycott takeaway coffee than not be seen trying to cancel any ‘racism’ directed towards any minority in their ‘harmonious super diversity NZ family of nations’ . . you know the ones . . the ones that have to sing a karakia in their Grey Lynn villa before brushing their teeth in the morning.

      • solomons, they’re taking our jobs, they want world domination, chinese virus, they don’t originate they just copy, huawei, 5g all that’s missing is fu manchu and I’m guessing the nats will get round to that…..
        need I go on james…

‘yellow peril’ is the appropriate phrase for peddlers of those ideas exactly the same horseshit that used to be peddled about the japanese in the 70s/80s

  2. Again just waiting for Mark to turn up . . 6.30am in Beijing so can’t be long now.

Or he is preoccupied looking at deep water ports in the Solomons on Google Earth?

  3. LOL! Most of the world is on China’s side on this one.

The only noise and bs about Covid origins is coming from the West. Indeed if the West had taken measures promptly, and they had plenty of advance notice, the virus would have been contained.

The vast majority of the developing world supports China over the US, because the US is the western hegemon. Toppling the US will topple Western hegemony over the world.

Furthermore there is strong evidence that Covid was a US bioweapon….”300 American military servicemen had just visited Wuhan as part of the Military World Games, providing a perfect opportunity for releasing a viral weapon,” he noted, calling the scenario “a strange coincidence.”

    • @Mark, yes the US bioweapon theory, I think that was number 2 or 3 of the several ‘origin stories’ pushed by CCP. Atleast they no longer believe in the Wuhan Seafood market origin. They were ahead of most western media on that one! The latest I hear, according to the CCP, is that the current outbreak causing the lockdown in Shanghai is due to the virus on the ‘surface of parcels’ sent from overseas.

Serious question, now most of the western world is vaccinated and coming out of covid restrictions. Why is the CCP still using a zero covid approach and in the process literally locking up and starving people? If you tell me they are not, then it may help to step outside the Tier 1 city bubble. Although even that bubble is starting to deflate.

In addition to the social and economic effects of covid policies, China has a rapid demographic decline, energy shortages, supply chain security issues and very soon if not already, food shortages. All this while the property ponzi scheme is collapsing taking out the savings and intergenerational family wealth of a large chunk of the middle class.

The US hegemon will face challenges but for now US domestic politics and mexican cartels offer more threat to their long term prospects than China. If China moves on Taiwan it is over for the CCP, but like Russia in Ukraine it is simply hastening the decline. If it were not for Taiwan’s importance to high tech manufacturing, I suspect some in the US State Department would relish China stuck in a never ending war and be actively trying to provoke one.

If you don’t think what I say has merit, ask what happens to China as globalisation collapses. What happens when, rather than facilitate international maritime trade, the US and allies actively disrupt it.
The land based part of belt and road cannot compete with maritime trade in volume, cost and scalability. Further if the EU sanctions remain on Russia that cuts off the belt and road from the European market. In a conflict, China’s naval power requires land based air support so range is limited. While it has the largest number of ships, it is far behind in tonnage, range and capability of the US, even without allied fleets. It is a threat to Taiwan, but not to the US navy’s control of global shipping.

Don’t take any of this as support for the US, it’s a realpolitik assessment. We are moving from a globalised world towards closed networks of trading nations more like the world before Bretton Woods. Countries utterly dependant on a globalised order, like China (and much of Europe) are going to suffer badly.

India and the question of unity in Europe are IMO wildcards in the post-globalised order.

  4. Credit to Vanity Fair, but credible evidence was available over a year ago
    https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/coronavirus-lab-escape-theory.html

The publication in Vanity Fair IMO is more a signal that the taboo has been lifted and it is now socially acceptable/we have ‘permission’, from the cultural elites to discuss the lab leak hypothesis and not be dismissed by polite society as conspiracy theorists.

It’s also a sign of chilling relations with the CCP. Increasingly western governments and media no longer exercise caution, and perhaps actively seek politically embarrassing and ‘bad news’ stories about China.
Less than a year ago John Cena felt obliged to publicly apologise in Mandarin for calling Taiwan a ‘country’. Political winds change quickly!
