Being banned from The Standard is a rite of passage. It has to happen before you can move on to more useful ways of thinking. Covid “management” in NZ has proven there is no Right or Left, just styles of authortarianism interspersed by confused noise on media blogsites (as evidenced in the link above your message). The illusion of an online crowd of what appears to be people thinking about people usually comes under the heading of “the left” in NZ. They do at least try, even if it all gets over simplified, reduced to statistics, or mis/appropriated. Not much point going further into the reason why “the left” here isn’t actually the Left. Why not open a free blog account, talk about anything you want? It is surely a wilderness type activity for a while, but you would literally be occupying a massive open space no one covers. Alternatively, post your ideas here in the Gallery. I might not comment, but I will read them. P.S. Bowalley is not Left. TDB is Left about 50% of the time.
Covid management has nothing to do with authoritarianage. Labour did it from focus group. If they had an independent head I’d be glad but they are the spore of Helen Clark.
Hope, the only form of Left ideas since 1984, Their leaders were bought off, to be honest: they really believed they were there by merit and that meritocracy rather than democracy was the way.
