This is serious. Two sides of the USA culture, and neither of them looks neighbourly – I baked some nice cookies but I think I’ll take them home and eat them myself.

Let me explain what I mean. There are a few different versions of capitalism as I see it.
Version one is what we had in M.J Savage’s day.
Socialist capitalism. Where people paid taxes and some made fortunes but nothing like today where there are a few who could never spend all the money they’ve scammed out of us, a toothless population of vulnerable people.
Back then, everyone was relatively safe from exploitation.
Version two is what I’d call fascist capitalism. That, is what we see now. Where greed is good and where exploitation of our most vulnerable is a blood sport. Fascist capitalists have trojan horsed our MSM, have deregulated unions, have privatised what were once our assets and services and we can now see homeless beggars, single women with kids having to rent out their vaginas to pay the bills, and working poor living in cars with their whanau.
Version three is what we could have but is a desperately kept secret by those whom most profit from the ignorances they’ve schooled us into believing is the only way to be for their wealth creation.
Version three is what I’d call democratic capitalism and at [its] very core would mandatory voting. Something the USA doesn’t have.
Funny that.

If we’re to enjoy the wondrous freedoms a democracy can afford us, it must be a legal requirement for us to vote.
