  1. Bill has earned a deep respect over many years for ignoring the ranting of Business NZ and looking at a more holistic perspective of what is really happening.

  2. The reality out there in the workforce is that there are still far more jobs than there are people willing to work.

    So even vaguely competent people are assured of continued employment.

    I suspect for the most part, those requesting “protection from dismissal” are probably deserve the boot.

    • In think that militant conservatives in some way imagine low wage workers are treated in preferential way but that not true I mean look at the above. In many countries employment has been judged by governments and by the courts. We have one worker for every non-worker and where continuing association with productivity can be established a bargaining agreement may exist by association.

    • If you’re going to attempt to undermine what is a comprehensive presentation.. One full of the kind of information necessary for grownups to make decisions on, then best you use more than just your own short comings to base an argument on.. Your post amounts to no more than the national party employment policy.. In other words, for the simpler folk, a pile of nothing dressed up in the finest ignorance, and bigotry towards the “lower classes”.. I will admit that it’s instructive to be given an example of just how lacking in any social conscience, or structured thinking the national parties support base is…
