The continued attempt to crucify Kim Dotcom

The ‘Plan B’ option to deport Kim Dotcom rather than extradite him has been birthed stillborn under a new Government…

Exclusive: Inquiry into deporting Kim Dotcom is complete but Immigration NZ is keeping its findings secret – even from its minister
Immigration NZ has completed an investigation into whether Kim Dotcom can be deported from New Zealand for failing to declare a dangerous driving conviction – but it’s refusing to say what the outcome is.

The department has not even told its new minister, Iain Lees-Galloway, the inquiry is complete although legal experts say it almost certainly would recommend Dotcom be deported.

But that won’t happen without the report going to Lees-Galloway – it’s his job to make the decision.

Immigration NZ won’t say what the outcome is and instead aims to wait for the end of the legal fight to extradite Dotcom to the United States to stand trial for alleged copyright breaches.

…the entire thing is bullshit and trumped up because NZ had the opportunity to deny Kim residency when he first applied…

Immigration NZ granted Dotcom’s residency application despite being told by the NZ Security Intelligence Service that the FBI was investigating.

Documents obtained by the Herald through the OIA showed NZSIS staff tried to block the residency application but dropped its objection after being told there was “political pressure” to let the tycoon into New Zealand.

…but NZ SIS dumped their objections because America wanted NZ to allow Kim into the country from Hong Kong so that they could entrap him here and arrest him. For Immigration to now throw a tantrum over a speeding ticket is really just the back up plan to deport him if extradition fails.

If Labour allow Kim to be deported it will be a huge betrayal to their voter base who are against the mass surveillance Kim has fought.

I personally find it difficult to believe the new Government would throw him out of the country for two reasons.

The first is that his Supreme Court battle has not been heard yet and the chances of our highest judiciary allowing America to dictate our own domestic law to us is really unlikely meaning Kim’s options to sue NZ for $6.8billion in damages is very real and adding insult to injury means he’s really likely to go romper stomper on our arses

The second reason i think it’s unlikely this new Government will deport Kim is because Winston himself is highly skeptical of this entire fiasco…

Winston Peters says New Zealand deserves answers over the Kim Dotcom affair as a new extradition appeal begins

Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters insists the public has yet to be told everything it should have been told about the Kim Dotcom’s case.

But he’s not about to launch an immediate inquiry into those questions now that he is part of the government.

The comments come ahead of a lengthy series of Court of Appeal hearings set to run over the next four weeks.

Dotcom and three others involved in the Megaupload filesharing website were arrested by New Zealand police in a dramatic dawn raid in January 2012 north of Auckland.

…finally, note how Immigration NZ are refusing to hand the details of this report onto their actual Minister, and put that up alongside my argument that the Ministries are really in control of this Government and are the real enemy here.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, the Public ‘Service’ is this Government’s real enemy and the Left need to get their heads around that rather than suck up to the PSA.

  1. agree on PSA, they have been captured for many years by the “machine” and their class collaborationist partnership approach to worksite organisation, they have pockets of good members, but WINZ/MSD staff seem beyond redemption

if ever there was a time to try and educate those workers in the meaning of solidarity with their vulnerable “clients” rather than just following orders, and make their lives a sadistic living hell, it is now
-twisted as it sounds, some WINZ/MSD staff can be personally rewarded for NOT providing the assistance struggling people seek!

and again, Dotcom’s case should be supported even by those not keen on the man, so the extent of Key’s duplicity can be eventually revealed, along with the semi secret surveillance state he enabled

  2. +100 re “Dotcom’s case should be supported even by those not keen on the man, so the extent of Key’s duplicity can be eventually revealed, along with the semi secret surveillance state he enabled”

Dotcom has been treated appallingly…the whole fiasco compromised NZ’s judicial integrity and made New Zealand into a police state at corporate Hollywood’s behest

  3. Again the deep big pockets of the Corporate estate have taken over our Public Service as it should now be called “the Corporate public service” using the taxpayers money, so it is corporate theft by ‘stealth’ nothing more than criminal acts appear to abound right under the new Labour government’s own noses.

Pathetic event that is really known as ‘corporate welfare’.

  4. Hilarious, (sarcasm) Peter Thiel who does not live here also had a driving conviction but apparently that was ok and they can’t do anything about it, but Dot Com who does live here and has a large family here, and should be a productive member of society paying great taxes and employing people, is somehow a liability?

The officials that hid the liability of risk of sue NZ for $6.8billion in damages, should be jailed. With officials like those, no wonder the NZ officials advice is being told to sell itself into TPPA faux version prostitution.

Somehow, under National party’s John Key’s zero tax havens we have been welcoming the money launderers even if they feature in Chinese top most wanted (luckily millions in bribes and fines just wipe that away and business as usual).

At the same time, NZ officials are ineffectively trying to set up and extradite Dot Com who live here, based on bad US lobbyist intelligence and pathetic and biased NZ legal advice (ultimately incorrect aka copywrite is not even a criminal offence) to government.

The weird thing is, that reality now for some is so unbelievable it’s more like a soap opera than the fictional version.

    • +100…agreed about those being responsible held to account….maybe their bank accounts should also be held liable eg John Keys

….and more like a satire on perfidy and stupidity than soap opera

  5. agree totaly, all involved should have there bank accounts and property seized immediately, its only fair that we protect our assests from the international theives and lairs that started this whole fiasco, our laws are not subject to Americias whims and media propaganda, we have a class based english system that really knows how to molester the poor and exploit natives, anyway why not just seize all that corrupt cash we have stashed for Kkkeys mates, stillwaiting for a investergation of campain funding, stillwaiting for legal pot, stillwaiting for my state issue cardboard box home
