So David Seymour is going to launch his new book at the same time he makes some (government???) housing policy announcements.
Using the election campaign to boost sales of a self-written book is something I don’t remember any NZ politician doing before. Is this even legal?, even if its legal – its extremely dodgy, bordering on corrupt.
Does National go along with this dodgy process? Considering the reported harsh criticism of National in his book they might be a bit perplexed.
But hey, ACT’s relationship to National is like the tail wagging the dog and National need him so he can do and say what he likes and National will still sweet talk their supporters in Epsom into voting for him.
Nearly all politicians claim to want election to parliament to make a difference, to improve things for New Zealanders.
Seymour apparently just wants to make money at our expense and the publicity of an election campaign is just another way for him to make a lot more of it.
