“Venerable French investor Charles Gave has been managing money and researching markets for over 40 years; as such France’s elder statesman of asset allocation perhaps best captures the mood ahead of the most crucial Presidential election in a generation. In conversation with Dr. Pippa Malmgren, Charles breaks down national politics to understand why voters have rejected the establishment and the market impact of both outcomes, and what to expect from tomorrow’s election.
First, Gave, who says “I’m not so sure that Macron will win”, is asked by Malmgren to walk RealVision viewers through what Macron’s agenda would look like in case of a victory…
I’m not sure whether I’ve become a crazed conspiracist or what, but has any one noticed NKorea has gone off the boil?News coverage at any rate.
Could it be that the whole beat up was just Trump exploiting the small window he had to get the THAAD missiles in to S Korea. Shortly SKorea will have elections, and the front runner Moon is keen to restart negotiations with NKorea., and has misgivings about the THAAD missiles, and also the subservient relationship with the US.
Those missiles are overkill , and are really aimed at containing China(which has raised alarm in that country ) and Russia.
Unfortunately Kim Jong Un predictably rose to the bait( the annual aggressive invasion practises the US and S Korea engage in) right on cue, which must have pissed China off hugely
The THAAD missiles allow for a first strike capability(supposedly, …their effectiveness is rumoured to be less than 50%)so are a huge threat to China and Russia
Wouldn’t put it past Trump to blow NKorea apart as a “message”,whilst taking the moral high ground as a protector of brave little SKorea
