National has quietly announced the introduction of ‘global budgets’ – a rehashed version of their failed ‘bulk funding’ plans. It will lead to increased class sizes and parents being asked for bigger donations.
When National tried to increase class sizes in 2012, parents and the public spoke up forcing them to back down. If enough of us speak out now, we can make sure this Government doesn’t make another decision that will affect our kids’ education.
Will you sign the petition to protect our children’s class sizes and limit voluntary donations?
Increasing class sizes will be bad for our children’s education. It means each child will get less time with their teachers and lead to more disruptive classrooms.
We’ve got to stop it. Click here to sign the petition now.
