I am shocked how Sue Bradford seems to be softening on the private outsourcing approaches being promoted. She is critical, but lacks the resolute opposition in this discussion, maybe she fears being labeled “racist” when Maori organisations like Waipareira are involved and support all this kind of social impact bond approach.
I say, no, this is NOT the way to go, contracting out has been going on for years, just keep this damned profit focus out of it, thanks.
