  1. This fits the Elite grubby greed to control and rob the last vestiges of our social safety net, so we need to remove the last vestiges of them next election before they sell our souls.

  2. Well theres not much else they can sell is there ?They have cleaned NZ out, without a thought for the unfortunate in society.
It will be Pensions next, all part of the same thing.

  3. Sorry…”surely we [charities? Maori Trusts??] should be compensated for the risk…”

This attitude nicely demonstrates why social bonds will be a disaster, especially for those with complex issues that the government doesn’t want to pay for.

Terrible interview where Sue was constantly interrupted by the interviewer

  4. Well done everyone on the show.

This is the kind of discussion which should be in every home, every night. It was good to see opposing ideas, did not hinder people from seeing they had common ground.

Great work Willie, this is why we need you on TV.

  5. I am shocked how Sue Bradford seems to be softening on the private outsourcing approaches being promoted. She is critical, but lacks the resolute opposition in this discussion, maybe she fears being labeled “racist” when Maori organisations like Waipareira are involved and support all this kind of social impact bond approach.

I say, no, this is NOT the way to go, contracting out has been going on for years, just keep this damned profit focus out of it, thanks.
