No one has done more to educate, lampoon and satirise the madness of politics than Jon Stewart.
His intelligence, humour, wit and desire to expose the mainstream media for the lying corrupt behemoth that it is for 16 incredible years was a relief to the educated and progressive.
He was always my inspiration…
More people understood the true nature of politics and power because of him than anyone else in media.

The Daily Show has been part of our diet for many years and I hope that Trevor Noah can do a good job as well. He is quite a funny and smart young man in his own right. Heard any of his stand up comedy?
Jon Stewart and George Carlin and Eddie Izzard are in a league all of their own. They had the guts to come up against the rot and greed and dirty politics and speak out with sharp humour and genius like brilliance.

Many of us sigh a bit of sadness at Stewarts retirement but — ” The Daily Show ” — will go on and we will miss – Jon – BIG TIME !
He annihilated and made fun of Fox News like no other !
After Jon’s last – The Daily Show, I was referred to do some research about him. I did and I am no longer a fan of his. Seems like we have to question everything now and nothing much surprises me anymore.
