You know what people?….
That cartoon suggested to me that the definition of a modern day neo liberal led economy is tantamount to the rape and pillage mentality carried out during 19th century …..
It is essentially the same type of people transported forwards in time from that era to the year 2015.
And that cartoon says it all.
Who actually authorized the sale of this timber and was not that person’s salary paid for by us ? Should we the NZ citizenry not have a legal say about this and could this sale not be challenged in a court of law ?
Don’t we need to grow a stronger spine and a few more cahones ?
Summed up well Blake. But without our Government (National Majority) willing to do anything (Judith Collins husband runs an operation doing exactly this! On a much larger scale – The largest in Northland) Nothing will be done.
