Every day I have rushed to read the paper to see if a breaking story on the Ede-Slater emails had broken yet. They haven’t. Day after day, where are these emails? We know Rawshark sent the emails to David Fisher and Matt Nippert, yet nothing.

All had gone quiet. Was there a fix coming? Were editors clamping down and stopping the emails coming out? I just don’t know.

In other news, Matt Nippert just quit Fairfax at 2pm today and has joined NZ Herald investigation team…

  1. And yet again Key dodges a bullet.

Unless… if Rawshark can’t release the emails (with the injunction), surely someone else can?

    • I’m unsure if Rawshark would be stopped by an injunction. He shoud be able to find an anon way to get them out if the media doesn’t cough up in the next few days. I so hope the media does it’s job. It is vital information. I have never been so disappointed in our country as I have over the last month. The govt has no regard for us, wholesale spying, petty fights and insults coming from our leader, lying, govt interference in serious investigations, death threats coming from the govt against public servants, using attack blogs and even more worryingly, our intelligence agencies to attack political opponents. Unreal. And no-one to hold them to account. The media is letting our democracy be torn apart in return for what I can only guess is interviews with the PM, ratings, and advertising money.
