People who are not happy with Obama are definitely not going to be happy with whoever the next United States President happens to be. Obama is as liberal President as the United States is likely to supply under the present circumstances . America is riven with extreme right wing conservatism which hobbles any liberal agendas Obama has. Contrary to this, in New Zealand we have a far right Conservative government with a Prime Minister who is actually more conservative by nature than Obama. We have a lot less excuses for having a conservative government here. Obama or Key as a mate? I’d take Obama any day of the week.
