Who can afford shares in public assets? Why the well to do National have given billions in tax cuts to.

From 100% ownership by all in our energy assets to 2% for those rich enough to buy them.

The continued transfer of public assets into the hands of the wealthy who are being given billions in tax cuts continues without denting Key’s popularity needs to be filed under hashtag sleepyhobbits. We are truly an electorate of masochists.

Never before has the below image summed up NZ Politics so well

  1. thanks for posting about this. I cannot believe the arrogance of this government, and how they get away with this sort of behaviour. I thought we still lived in a democracy? Is it even legal (constitutionally?), I know it’s ethically dodgy. By the time the next election happens DonKey will have sold everything to his rich mates and the country will be well on the way to being a mini America.
