  1. These people have been able to get away with so much is it because they are white and quiet yet they are receiving tax payers money. If this was the Brain and Hannah Tamaki they would have been shut down and our mainstream media would pursue them like relentless hounds out for blood.

  3. Weird how abusive organisations receive so much public funding. Why are they still a charity when they appear to be more a business and so many people coming forward with abuse stories?

  6. OK , well, when working on a construction site in the Waitakeres, I was introduced to a young guy who escaped from that outfit. I said, ”come stay with me” and he did. After weeks sleeping on the streets and various other places in Auckland, I was happy to give him sanctuary. A safe place where he could recoup.

He stayed with me for quite a few years, and accepted my mum as a kind of ‘ surrogate’ mum. He went on to work with kids throughout South America and putting his talents of being a carpenter to good work there.

His epic story of escape was laying in ditches at night with his suitcase when he saw traffic lights approaching. Such was the fear put upon those people. Me?- I would have given them the fingers and told them to stick it. Push me any further and a broken nose you would have earned.

Years later, my girlfriend at the time and I snuck in to that place as we were back packers. I did so to convey the message that his son was ok, that they had no need to worry, if they so wondered.

We were relentlessly surrounded by the leaders little ferrets, separated, and to me it was all just a a big joke. They gave us the grill for hours, each of us.

    Water off a ducks back.

And my point is this, – I was at that time a Christian and I am still now. And I have had first hand experience of that situation and that place LONG BEFORE it ever hit the media several decades ago.

So maybe a little less of this ‘ I have to tolerate religious types’ business and a little more of recognition of the good Christians [ or any others faith’s] do.
