Why Paula Bennett is such a hero to many Nu Zilinders & will remain as Deputy forever if she wins Cannabis referendum misinformation campaign
The sleepy hobbits of muddle Nu Zilind have a low imagination horizon anti intellectualism combined with an economic privilege based on exploitation of confiscated indigenous resources where ignorance & malice are celebrated by the rural volk while middle class Nu Zilind attention is engulfed between school rankings & property speculation.
For the sleepy hobbits, there are only 3 true heroes to ever worship in Nu Zilind.
1: Anyone who is an All Black, or has slept with an All Black
2: A rich businessman who enters politics because he’s ‘not doing it for the money’.
3: A fat person who becomes skinny.
This last one is met with a mix of wonder bordering on the belief in the supernatural, because being fat carries more judgment than arriving at work in KKK robes with a burning cross.
Paula Bennett’s weight transformation is met with the type of amazement primitive neanderthals viewed eclipses and cements her popularity and power with National like nothing else.
Paula is being used with enormous effectiveness on the cannabis debate and is expected to hold the line for conservative voters no matter what the evidence is. If people want to see the referendum pass, they are going to have to get into a debate with Paula and know their stuff because she is a master of anti-intellectual judo.
If Paula can defeat the cannabis referendum with her disinformation campaign, her position as Deputy inside National is guaranteed for life.

I’m not sure about this one, when smoking tobacco – ordinary old smoking- is regarded as being worse than being a mass murderer in NZ, and it triggers more animosity in public than being a fattie does – in spite of the massive tax income which tobacco gifts the govt.
Life-long smoker Winston Peters MP quit smoking going cold turkey. Any smoker will agree that that is a huge achievement, some would say impossible.
Peters accomplished this remarkable feat all by himself, without having to resort to costly surgery – unlike Paula Bennett whose efforts to cut back her blubber needed a scalpel wielded in the vicinity of her fat stomach.
I for one, am sorry that Paula didn’t get something done to her big mouth at the same time, to try and reduce her blabber which can cause a heck of a lot more offence than her blubber did.

Shows you how shallow a lot of people are. Bennett was awful when she was fat. She’s not fat any more. Still awful though. There’s been zero personal growth, and no evidence of her suddenly discovering a conscience. As transformations go, it’s Jabba the Hutt to Cruella De Vil.

If Paula Bennett is the evidence of being a pothead in her youth then bugga the referendum. However as many have already said, Bennett hasn’t changed since those early years so to steal a phrase from Andrew Little, “I think Bennett’s a dickhead”!
Paula Bennett expects respect because she is a self-serving politician but she will never ever gain respect from those who see through her and her tactics.
I will be voting in favour of both referendums next year. I don’t give a rats arse what Paula Bennett thinks because she isn’t credible enough to bother with. Equally I don’t give a rats arse what the NZ National Party and their MPs think because they too do not merit any attention due to their lack of credibility.
National are all a bunch of self-serving, attention seeking idiots that have way passed their Used By Date.
I must admit I had abit of a chuckle yesterday morning when watching Breakfast.
There was the caption(if that is the right word) of Paul Bennett and Chris Hipkins in regards to the End of Life Choice Bill referendum.
It took quite sometime before I think someone at TVNZ noticed that typo.
