Govt decision to ‘move on’ homeless kept secret
Cabinet has made a decision about whether to grant ‘move on’ orders to Police dealing with homeless people in CBDs, but has yet to release it, The Post-$’s Amelia Wade reported last night.
They are hiding it because the device is damning.
They are hiding it because everything they have done on the homelessness front has exacerbated and made homelessness worse.
They are hiding it because at some stage, you the sleepy hobbit voter, are going to see the hypocrisy of manufacturing more homelessness and then arresting those homeless when their poverty and obvious mental health issues become too embarrassing to sweep under the carpet any longer.
They are hiding the advice because they have created more homelessness and are reaching for arrest laws that advice warn them will do nothing and will only create more friction on the streets.
They are hiding it because they are ashamed.

Why indeed are the CoC hiding the removal and arresting of the homeless – a monster they created. Of course they are ashamed and embarrassed as they know they don’t have a solution because most of the budget has gone to the greedy real estate industry, dirty mining, tobacco and the likes of helicopters! Climate funding has been slashed just when it is needed most. There is nothing left in the coffers now, however seems enough to fund unnecessary ‘overseas trips’ for Luxon and Winston! This CoC can NEVER change so must NEVER be re-elected – they are the new LOW in NZ politics.

They who deem themselves “Entitled” to make Accommodation claims of $52,000 on a now sold Wellington Apartment He ONLY stayed in a few times a week whilst at the same time claiming He ONLY spent $60.00 a week on groceries whilst in Wellington.
They who claim that “he” knows and understands that it’s “tough out there” whilst at the same time boasting about being wealthy and sorted.
They who parade the family in matching PJs(compliment however this time for choosing Labour Party Red in the top)at Christmas time 2025.
They who use NZ taxpayers money for a Pavlova Moment Photo Opportunity up a mountain.
They who haven’t been exactly credit-worthy of votes, respect or credibility.
One former TVNZ journalist once said prior to the 2023 that she Loves Luxon’s passion and that NZers should really get to know him. To date he has come across as Wanting the Ego of being addressed as a prime minister but What he has Delivered to date has been Sadly Lacking in substance and volume when it comes to NZ and NZers.
Instead he had proven to be Unapproachable, Unappealing, Totally Incompetent, Lazy and Useless. Oh and lets not forget a Sycophant of Donald Trump.
I have said this elsewhere but I have more respect of the Homeless in our communities than I ever would have of National, ACT and NZ First.
