  1. So… if the TPP 11 fizzles out in the coming months, it won’t be because New Zealand has pulled the plug.

Yeah, heaven forbid that we ever show we possess some cojones.

No wonder the left loses these showdowns every single time.

  2. … ” I think that keeping their heads down and allowing the TPPA to implode all on its own to escape an open confrontation with the elite rich of NZ is a smarter move for a new Government than declaring war on the neoliberal establishment on day one”….

Possibly , but there is an element of risk.

But could be a good tactic, – if that’s whats actually part of Labours / NZ Firsts agenda. As for declaring war on the neo liberal elite , – the real shots will be fired when Treasury and the Reserve Bank are looked into . When you see some changes of the guard there and a return to more direct govt control , – that’s when we will know the war has really begun in earnest.

Up until now , … this is the phony war stage.

    1. utter stupidity, putting the head in the sand or hiding when those that need to be counted should stand up to any suggestion of sovereignty compromise.

      1. Or follow with the other lot who are fighting to change the whole setup Vietnam and Singapore are just two of the other countries who want radical changes that wont pass so yes it will implode i feel Martyn.
