We have banned an obsessed gun nut
Comrades, we have banned an obsessive Gun Nut who has turned to insinuating violence against the Editor.
This is the third ban we’ve ever done, the first were a group of Trans activists who threatened the Editors family, the second was a South Island extremist who made death threats against the Editor and this obsessive gun nut is the 3rd one we’ve banned.
If you don’t receive this kind of harassment, you aren’t doing your job, but obsessive gun nuts are a breed on their own and we will contact Police to ensure there is a complaint process we can point to if anything occurs.
We bend over backwards to allow you to have free speech on this blog, we draw the line at threats, violence and pointlessly labouring ZB talking points.

I’m not in agreement with your stance on firearms but anyone making threats on any topic is way out of line.

If the person is a license holder, they aren’t likely to be for much longer.
This is just austerity in action. Erik’s twenty-plus sentence-long posts on any post mentioning firearms have to have made up the vast majority of moderator workload. With cuts to spend on moderator pay of over 40%, some commentators had to go.
Wow creepy as fuck, I hope that you complain to the police and they investigate. Especially to find out whoever it is that threatened you has a gun and licence.
