  1. No independent thought allowed in NZ, Tom Phillips wanted to be independent and while I did not support his actions I was not surprised that the police shot him dead rather than risk any future Women’s Weekly stories about how he survived years on the run.

  2. The power companies are even worse as there is more of them and more providers is supposed to drive down prices, but it hasn’t so much for the free market.

  3. Before Two Degrees could enter the market and take on the Voda Telcom duopoly they had to wait for a government that prohibited pocket pricing in the communications sector. Labour sorted that.

    Can the next Labour govt make the necessary regulation to mitigate the risk for local and overseas new entrants?
