It’s funny when you compare the daily death threats to Jacinda vs Andrea Vance causing such pearl clutching.

Personally I think Andrea is wrong, Nicola Willis lacks the depth and warmth to be called the c word, but that’s just me.
When you speak truth to power the way Andrea did over the appallingly cruel and malicious amputation of pay parity, you expect backlash, but watching the right wing Female political class and their dour supporters in TVNZ and NZME pearl clutch at how offended they all are over and above the 500 000 workers who just got fucked over really gives you an insight into the class dynamics at work.
It’s more important that Nicola Willis, Audrey Young, Brooke van Velden and Maiki Sherman are all offended by the c word than the 500 000 workers who just had their pay stolen.
This is what NZ had become, a small closed shop where the double standards of the rich trump the aspirations of half a million workers.
