Māori have nothing to fear from me when I’m Deputy Prime Minister – David Seymour
Seymour said Act is not an anti-Māori party and Māori have nothing to fear from him.
David Seymour has told the NZ Herald’s Kaupapa Māori Editor, Joseph Los’e, that Māori have nothing to fear when he takes over as Deputy Prime Minister from Winston Peters on May 31st.
Evidence would suggest that simply isn’t true.
This Government are currently embarking upon the Regulatory Standards Bill which will allow corporate interests to ensure private property rights are considered above human rights when law is being passed.
The Waitangi Tribunal has called for it to be immediately stopped because of the damage it will cause the Treaty.
This Government are attempting to remove the Treaty from all legislation, which again obviously damaged Māori.
This Government are reviewing the very Tribunal itself in an attempt to limit their power.
And let’s not forget ACTs last attack on the treaty in the form of the Treaty Principles Referendum, that in of itself has been damaging enough without adding these other issues.
Put this alongside taking $12billion out of the pockets of the poorest workers (many who are Māori women) to give directly to bosses as well as the cruel new welfare sanctions and deep cuts to emergency housing – all of which impact Māori disproportionately.
David says to Joseph Los’e that, “There are people who try to paint me as anti-Māori, despite me being Māori”, which is a remarkably flexible position to take that sees him use his identity when it protects him from criticism that he is being anti-Māori.
David Seymour certainly is Māori, of that there can be no doubt, but his harsh libertarian extreme social policy is most certainly anti-Māori as much as it is anti-beneificary and anti-egalitarian!
Many whanau are simply holding on by their fingernails with the ongoing cost of living crisis and those who have economic mobility are felling in exodus to Australia.
Those who are left behind are increasingly being hurt by this Government’s mean spirited policies.
David Seymour can assure us that Māori have nothing to fear from him becoming Deputy Prime Minister, but the evidence suggests otherwise.
This arsehole is hell bent on destroying Maori .He spouts he is Maori when it suits but seems intent on destroying his own Whanau due to some hateful reason .Maybe his mum should smash him in the face and tell him how it really is .David needs to spend a week living on the streets of Auckland and see how his whanau are really treated .He is quick to point out the failings of Maori but loath to point to the successes like the $80 billion they contribute to GDP and the many businesses they are building daily .In stead of keeping a list of their crime ,poverty ,and poor health why not keep a list of the many top Maori doctors ,teachers ,engineers ,farmers,CEOs and millionaires and put that out daily .
I said before the election ,if you are a woman ,gay ,a kid or brown you will be fucked over .Man am I being proven correct daily .Not just Maori but every KIWI except the 10% sorted need to fear this shit head .I have my doubts he has any idea of the reality of life in NZ .iF YOU VOTED FOR HIM AND ARE NOT SORTED YOU ARE NOW REAPING WHAT YOU HAVE SOWN AND IT WILL GET WORSE .The next government will have a massive job to undo the damage he has done .

Apirana Ngata also inflicted massive damage upon Maori even though some pseudo revisionists suggest that he was a good Maori? Similarly Hone Hika an early 19th century Nga Puhi Rangatira stanchly protected early Missionaries from attacks by other Maori supplying them with anything they needed so he could have access to European technology eg.. muskets.
Others come to mind like Waka Nene who fought against his own whanau Hone Heke wounding him because he was chasing away his business opportunities by cutting down the British flag 4 times which culminated in the Northern wars.
David Seymour doesn’t look Maori doesn’t speak for Maori but uses that tiny inch of Maori blood to use negatively against Maori. Whakapapa doesn’t really mean anything unless you advocate for your whakapapa in a meaningful way.
So if he doesn’t think like he should according to you he’s not Māori?
Sure Seymour, you’re really a ‘Mr Nice Guy’ just putting on a tough front! However your arrogance, ignorance and lack of any human empathy show your true self. You smirk, lie, cheat, are evasive and NEVER admit you are in the wrong. Your supporters are either so ‘dim witted’ or so ‘sorted’ they only care about themselves and don’t see your true agenda – Atlas–NZ Inituative, Money and Power! Bet you have your future life already set up out of NZ to skip into when you have destroyed our country. If you have, or have ever had, one decent bone in your body, you will stall your treacherous Regulatory Standards Bill and allow it to go through a true democratic process – but we all know that is not going to happen. A man reaps what he sows.
seymoure and Luxon are both failed ex business men .If they were so good why would they be back in NZ working for chump change instead of being the CEO of a major corporation and being paid millions per year .Because they have failed in the real world they have come back to NZ filled with hate and are taking it out on the Kiwis that stayed and built a more equal society .When they have destroyed NZ the Atlas network will send them to another country they want to destroy .
Neither he nor anyone from his party can be trusted around this issue because the bottom line for them is always property over people
If the definition of Fascism is an amalgamation of the State and Capital/ Corporations , and Sleazemore is pimping his Regulatory Standards Bill which gives precedence to Corporate rights over human rights then what does this tell us ?

The Regulatory Standards Act is flat out bad for all of NZ. And well into the future, it will screw over our descendants.
Seymoure and Luxon are leading the charge world wide in the art of destroying a country by fueling hate aimed at the less well off .So much so that TRump is following their lead ,but his right hand man Musk is putting up the white flag because the less well off have shown him that they are the ones that really create his wealth .If the less well off here did the same there would be a back flip like never seen before .However it seems they are taking a bit longer to be woke .
Why the is it then that there are many from the traditional class focused left, like staunch Unionist Paul Embry in the UK who have shown that the woke simply despise the working class?
The majority of people can’t stand the authoritarian nature of the Woke and they are finally demonstrating that they’ve had enough
How long has it been since the NZ Labour Party had someone in the cabinet who’d actually been a working class person, doing hard work and who had risen from the shop floor? Don’t include union organisers as they’re all SPADs and Uni grads from leafy suburbs.
